This looks great on Trip Advisor, but we felt very disappointed. As we had asked for a ground floor room due to an injury one of us had aggravated, we were given a room on the ground floor. Sure it was large, and yes it had a pretty view, but it was sub standard. The shower was broken, and we... More

We booked this from the UK using the internet because it looked and sounded wonderful. It is far, far better when you see it for yourself. A wonderful house set against trees and view of lake. Very peaceful and extremely well presented. Very friendly welcome.

We booked to stay here on our way down to the coast and were pleasantly greeted by a very nice man who spoke excellent English and welcomed us straight in. The room was lovely and big which was perfect for our babies travel cot. The only snag was that I had read on trip advisor somewhere that it was walkable... More

I can confirm other reviews about the understated appeal of this hotel (which looks like a country villa). It is reasonably priced, comfortable, spacious and clean with more than adequate facilities. The outdoor lawn and its proximity to a small lake are charming and relaxing. The staff are very helpful. We traveled in Summer and although the room did not... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a road trip around France. I booked online the day before and, although the reviews seemed positive, was half expecting a snag given the price (80 Euros) and the fact it was only a 2* establishment. However, we were pleasantly surprised: on arrival, we found the château and grounds (though small)... More

As a mid way stop, we found this lovely hotel. It was in a superb location in its own grounds and the chateau has been renovated to a high standard. There are the remains of the older farm buildings near by. The whole place gave an impression of being calm and tranquil. We had one of the rooms just under... More

We found this charming converted small chateau when looking for somewhere to break the journey from Dieppe to the south of France and didn't fancy another boring chain hotel. It was easy to book through Booking.com and well priced. We paid £69.00 for a large room for three adults for one night. Finding the hotel was easy and its location... More

Stayed for two nights in a 'Privilege Room'. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious, bright, clean and quiet with a view over the garden and lake. The staff were friendly and efficient. For less than £70 per night it represented good value. On a slightly 'negative' side, certainly not a complaint but something to be aware of - It... More

This is the second year running we have used this hotel for an overnighter on the way to and from the south of France. Room is a bit basic, more plugs would be appreciated, however, fridge and microwave are a godsend on a long journey. For the price,it can't be beaten. This year we went for the mid-range and were... Another good find, it confuses me with other reviewers comments, if you know it is a 2 star rating then why do you expect 4 star. All our picks have been good and most important they have been clean. This hotel is just fine, reception people very friendly. The room was good size bathroom OK and both very clean. For... More
