Stayed 1 night on way back from Provence to St Malo (it's about halfway). Map to find hotel not very clear, we followed signs for centre ville and ended up touring the cobbled streets of Bourge! Arrived at 11pm after a 14 hour drive from North Yorkshire. It is 5 minutes off the A71/E11. The welcome was friendly and the room spotless if basic. stayed for two nights in June..the room was a bit dull and old fashioned but the staff made our toddler daughter very welcome. they couldn't do enought for us including filling bottles of milk at night and playing with her at breakfast. very central hotel and pleasant stay more

The hotel is pretty much the same as every other Ibis. Smallish room, comfortable bed, good shower, tv and a small wardrobe. For a stopover it's ideal and at a good rate. Short walk to town, located in leafy area between the River Auron and the Canal du Berry. A good place from which to explore this lovely medieval town. Breakfasts were good, as was the restaurant for other meals. Staff very courteous and helpful. Would stay here again. more
