Good sized free carpark. Reception was good ,efficient and friendly. The room and bathroom were really small . Free wifi, but painfully slow. Comfortable bed, but no aircon so the room was stuffy and a bit airless at night. Restaurant was acceptable with the buffet seeming the best value. A 2 mile walk along footpaths into Blois centre . Lots... More

Reception and restaurant have been improved. The bedroom is tired, shabby and not very clean. the toilet seat was loose and we could not open the window in the evening due to the smell of cooking from below being blown in.

We booked in advance via Expedia for an overnight on our road trip from Paris to Dordogne. Very friendly staff, their English is good enough. We took their breakfast which isn't expensive; only 9.90 euros and we got great value for our money. The breakfast had fresh juices, good filter coffee, croissant, ham, cheese, bagets, bread, yogurts, fruit, cereal, but... More

I have stayed here quite often as it is not too far from Blois — this is a clean and well-maintained hotel. The beds are comfortable and there is reasonable storage space. The rooms are insulated, but quite small — adequate for this kind of establishment. Their discounted "deals" offer good value for money. The dining room offers a good... More

We have stayed at this particular campanile for many years. I think it has been at least ten. We come for one night in April and one night in November. Over the years the quality of the breakfasts and dinners has dropped steadily. Now we do not even bother with the overpriced breakfasts. The rooms are very small and when... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Campanile while visiting the chateaux de la Loire. The restaurant is nice and the breakfast are good. The room is clean but small. The double bed is probably 1m40 which is a small double. That was a disappointment. Saying that, looking at the hotel plans, other rooms are bigger so my advice if you... More

This Campanile seems to get very mixed reviews. My review is based on a one night mid week stay in a twin bedded room on the ground floor facing the car park. First of all, this hotel is nicely situated in a very quiet residential zone. It is about 10 minutes from the centre of Blois and well placed for... More

Stayed overnight with two friends as a stop enroute up north from the south. We wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful with good food and comfy beds - and campanile offered exactly that. There seemed to be swarms of staff waiting to help us - the buffet was well stocked and the rooms were bright and clean. The corridors and staircase... More

An attractive if somewhat functional hotel situated on the southern outskirts of Blois. There is plenty parking space, the reception staff are aimiable, the beds are comfortable and there is everything one might need when on the move: a television, free wifi and a pleasant restaurant with excellent value for money (various "formules", buffet options, etc.). Room insulation is good,... More

Visited in August 2012 afetr a long day travelling and visiting Chenonceau. Completely refurbed. Reception staff a bit off hand on arrival but had probably been a long day for them as well as us. Much freindlier the following morning. Restaurant was excellent - probably the best rump steak brochette I've ever had, shut your eys it could have been... More
