We stayed in a beautiful room opening out onto the garden in the middle of the property. Evertything about the Hotel de Biencourt was just perfect for us. Quite setting, peaceful room, simple and tasteful decor. Very comfortable bed. Loverly bathroom. Breakfast in the moring hit the spot. We stayed as part of our velo tour and could not recommend... Part of the hotel was a school from teh napoleanic era , so it transfers you compeketly to a different world. As a matter of fact they have preserved some benches too which give you a school feel. The hotel is walking distance from the castle which makes life easier:). It's prximity to the restaurnats is also very good. Rooms... More

I can only summarise the previous comments in that this is an excellent hotel in a superb location; both in the town and the Loire Valley. It is a first class base for a cycling holiday. The rooms are simple, stylish and comfortable and the service is professional and relaxed. We arrived with our bikes, which could be safely stored... More

We were travelling back to the UK from the South of France, with the return 3 days unplanned. We booked the Hotel de Biencourt only the day before arriving, although I had come across it in previous internet searches for the area, and we were so impressed. The room was spotless, with a great shower and lots of power points... More

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Location excellent, on pedestrian street ( you can drive to it to unload and load your car), 150m walk to the Chateau. We stayed in room 9, with double beds, overlooking the inner courtyard. Bathroom good, with great water pressure. Marie & Patrick are wonderful hosts. They really liked us, especially because they... Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in this wonderful hotel which has been renovated to a very high standard, the room was contemporary, clean and comfortable with excellent walk in shower. Breakfast was self-service with lots of choices. The hotel is brilliantly located in the heart of town, we were able to garage our bikes immediately opposite the hotel, and... More

Pitoresk hotel on excellent location, with very comfortable modern rooms. The owners are very friendly:'old school' hospitality. The extra is the nice garden to sit and the little display of the school the building it once housed.

We checked in after purchasing picnic supplies and we immediately offered their garden for our picnic. We enjoyed our bread, cheese and wine while listening the a mocking bird in their private garden.

We stayed here as part of an inntravel cycling break. We were welcomed and shown to our rooms with no waiting or fuss. The reception staff were very friendly and the whole place had an air of calm and restfulness. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. The showers were clean and very good. The location next to the chateau... More

This hotel was chosen for us by a cycling tour operator, and we were delighted with the choice. The building has a lot of history, and is right next to the Chateau. Service is quite competent. We slept very well and had a great time. The proprietors seemed to ooze niceness in the brief time that we met them.
