It probably is overpriced but the owner does deal up and there is a few rooms to chose from which are priced accordingly. There is a VERY strange atmosphere, but it's kind of in keeping and makes a nice change from your standard Hotel. If you fancy a change this is the one. PS Breakfast is great!

Our room was large but very dark and gloomy. Nice but small bathroom.Overpriced considering lack of facilities e.g. no bar and pool was clean but not heated. Strange atmosphere!! Also did not take credit cards!

Big rooms, nice pool, a little out of town and at 100+ Euros per night (breakfast included) is a bit overpriced. There are better deals in the little village of Azay which is as cute as can be. Two star hotels can be found with your own shower, WC and TV for about 50 Euros.
