We stayed one night and were very pleased with the choice (TripAdvisor recommendation). Close to the town centre, it has off street parking and easy to find. Our room was light and clean and the bed more comfortable than some in France! The excellent shower was very welcome and breakfast more than adequate. The restaurant was not open the night... more

Stayed here as part of a 10 day road trip through France. Azay le Rideau is a perfect location for visiting the Loire Chateaux and even in May was quite busy. Avoid this hotel in spring (and also in fall and winter). My room in the main building was very cold and clammy. The furniture is dated. Bad smell in the stairway as well as in the room.
