This is a picture perfect inn. Renovated and decorated impecably, the rooms are spotless and beautifully appointed. The grounds are gorgeous. Parking is a nightmare and Bob must keep an eye out for guests trying to maneuver tight spaces. Rent a small car. A beautiful (and beautifully maintained) manor house in the heart of Amboise. Gloria is a one-woman Tourist Information office, recommending itineraries and restaurants to meet every interest and preference. We had 3 very enjoyable days here. Well located for touring the area and the accommadation was excellent. The hosts, Gloria and Bob were both extremely helpful, recommended good local restaurants and gave us guidance on where and when to visit the chateaux. .

We had a wonderful stay at Le Vieux Manoir and would return again in a flash. All exceeded our expectations. Our rooms were ample and comfortable, beautifully furnished. Breakfast was extraordinary and we found Bob and Gloria to be welcoming and generous hosts, offering much good advice to guide us in touring the area. We highly recommend it.
