They gave us a superior room, but I did not find what could have really been superior, beside the bathroom, tub without curtains, so, less than sperior. However, it's a charming hotel and OK for one night.

Hotel looks lovely from outside. Rooms were disappointing. Very small double bed and very small rooms. Breakfast so staggeringly expensive we didn't have any - (good cafe next door). Bathrooms were very basic - old fashioned plastic showers and no water pressure. Friendly staff. Very expensive for what it was, but then Vezelay is a very expensive but beautiful town.

This hotel looks great, but you hear everything everybody does...I mean EVERYTHING! Snoring and toilet activities kept us up most of the night. The walls are paper thin...as are the floors. This is an attractive establishment and the rooms are very pleasant but the noise levels given its proximity to the busiest area of town are extremely high.
