Even though our stay at Val en Sal was too brief, we enjoyed it very much. Accommodations were comfortable and very pleasant, and Madame Carrez could not have been more hospitable. St. Pere is also more charming than Vezelay, which tends to be touristy. I highly recommend Val en Sel.

We spent three nights in this lovely inn. Dominique wasn´t there, but asked her second-lieutenant to give us a warm welcome. She arrived the following morning and is truly a phenomenal hostess. Her restaurant suggestions are always spot-on! This place is actually in St Pere about 2 km shy of Vezelay.

Val en Sel was so pretty. It is located in St Pere, 2km from Vezelay. Dominique was an excellent hostess, very warm and helpful. I had a great room with 3 windows each had a view of different side. Hi, we stay there one night in June 11 one the way to Burgundy. Nice house at 2 km of Vezelay itself (5 min drive). Nice garden as well. The owner is very friendly and it was a pelasure to stay there thank you.

This was one of our favorite places to stay on our recent trip. The hostess was very nice and gave us lots of ideas for places to see and restaurants to try. The breakfast was delicious.
