This was a visit to sample the fine dining. It was very good with some great flavours and textures. Expensive - but then it dies have 3 stars. interesting that El Cellar de Can Roca ( currently world number 1 and 3 stars) is cheaper and more inventive. I remain confused at Michelin's grading criteria. Can't see why this restaurant... More

We had a package including room, breakfast and lunch. It was absolutely superb: the welcome was warm and friendly and the meal was typical Burgundy food, beautifully cooked and presented, accompanied by delicious local wines. A succulent breakfast was served in a lovely heritage room. Our spacious room with careful and tasteful decoration overlooked the lovely enclosed garden in which... More

This property is a gem in Burgundy. Its a bit off the beaten path if you wish to visit Burgundian Wine Chateaux. But the lodging and dining experiences were fantastic. Perfect for foodies who love Burgundy wines. The hotel has a complete collection of Burgundy wines with a computer controlled wine dispenser that facilitates tasting of as many wines as... More

Michelin starred food in a beautiful location. Our french friends and my wife and I have been here for a few special occasions. We all had a package which included room and breakfast and evening meal. What a delight, the welcome was amazing, everyone with whom we came in contact treated us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were... More

Charming Hotel with luxurious rooms and amazing Michelin Starred food. The welcome is warm and friendly and the gardens are stunning. I cannot fault the food, it was typically french burgundy food, a bit rich, but beautifully cooked and presentation is unbelievable.

Great hotel, they treated us like royalties. We came for the restaurant but in fact, it was the hotel the highlight of the trip. We liked our room very much, it was obviously very quiet but that is what we wanted. We loved breakfast too. Restaurant was an anti-climax. We had one of their tasting menus with wine arrangement. Everything... More

We were looking forward to a stay in this 3* Michelin establishment as a stopover to our skiing holiday with our ten year old daughter. The hotel is lovely with a garden oasis centrally within the middle of the hotel complex. The garden is well tended and designed in an English garden style. Our room, a suite, was the best... More

As part of our weekend tour of Burgundy vintners and wine cellars, we spent one night at Le Relais Bernard Loiseau. We were able to take advantage of the Discovery package offered through Relais and Chateaux (there are other packages available). It included one night's stay plus dinner (which included an entree, fish and meat courses, a cheese plate, dessert... More

Stayed here on our way back to Brussels and were amazed. We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious with a large bathroom, bath, double sinks and shower. It opened onto a terrace which led to the gardens, where you could walk down to the pool, not in October unfortunately. The hotel had 2 open wood fires with comfortable seating where... More

We stayed at Le Relais Bernard Loiseau for three nights in September. It was an excellent experience. The rooms are clean and contemporary with classical details. Bathroom was spacious and enjoyable. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were in Saulieau, so we did not get to spend time in the garden or at the pool, but they were... More
