we stayed here on our way back up north, we also stayed last year and like the place. I have to say that I think that some of the other reviews are a bit harsh. Yes it's quirky, and it is easy to miss the entrance - we did last year! We paid a couple of pounds extra this year... More

This is a very bizarre, quirky hotel. It’s set off the street in a little courtyard. Worth Google mapping it first so you don’t miss it. It’s a sharp bend to get in and parking is very tight. (You need to book this in advance and is an extra cost.) It’s a lovely old coaching inn set in a courtyard... More

Booked through Booking.com. Great price. Entrance to hotel through court yard and past restaurant built expectations. Up stairs to reception which was small and tired looking with view into private accommodation and on other side small functional breakfast room and my doubts set in. Room was on corridor next the reception which looked well worn and in need of overdue... More

Set on the Rue Monge, central/south western Dijon, within walking distance of the old city centre, shops, market, restaurants, etc, it's a quaint hotel, and look s beautiful from the exterior. I'd suggest a quick look on Googlemaps (Streetview) to ensure you can see the entrance to the hotel; Rue Monge is a one way street and it would be easy... More

This hotel used to the a coaching inn in the 15th century. Most of the old features are still part of the hotel. Our room no.17, a 3 share room, was up a short spiral staircase that twisted around a very old sturdy wooden central post that I am sure is original. Our room was quiet, the bathroom had good... The exterior is old and charming. Location is great. Right in the city centre. Inside the hotel is tired and old. The charm has been removed and replaced with nothing much. It really needs a makeover. Fortunately we were only staying one night and it wasn't expensive.

A lovely gentleman helped is get our room for 3. We were in room #1 with a rollaway bed-it was tight but doable. The room was clean but the bathroom needed some bleach. Water pressure was great. It was very quiet. There wasn't any air conditioning. You can't beat the price of 60 euro.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop-over on the way home from the south of France. The room was amazing and beautiful. Very old old, rustic and traditional. They have made the building into a warm and comfortable accommodation whilst still keeping the traditional features. The children were very excited and pleased with their lofty bedroom and our bed... I'll say right away: if you are looking to stay somewhere fancy and modern, then I would recommend you go elsewhere. However, if you are open to a quaint and unique place, that has a very traditional feel, friendly staff, excellent prices, and perfect location, then this is a wonderful option for a stay in Dijon. We just loved this... More
