Fantastic location - the feel of a country chateau is all around you and very real. The grounds and buildings are themselves worth the trip - and then add in the fantastic room with a jacuzzi tub, unique furnishings, bulgari toiletries, and 5-star service and you can understand why it is such a destination. wonderful place, charming, relaxing and absolutely worth the price paid. Compared to other places it is not so expensive! The room is really nice, the bathroom completely new (you also have professional hairdryer!) and design-furnished, you also have Bulgari items to use as shampoo/conditioner/showerbath. The abbaye de la Bussiere is simply extraordinary!...The medieval abbey has been beautifully restored and we loved the extensive gardens with century-old trees, river, lake, and fountains everywhere.
