My family and I stayed for one night at this hotel whilst driving through France to Switzerland. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel is kept very clean. The family room was basic, but the beds were very comfortable, it benefited from black-out blinds and excellent AC - Whilst we were in Dijon the temperatures were 35 degrees+,... More

We stayed at Thurot this summer as a stop over on the way to southern France and we had a very good stay in this traditional French hotel 10mins from the city centre. Its not easy to find, tucked down a side street. Friendly welcome, clean room and an excellent breakfast for 8 euros per adult and 4 euros for... More

We found this hotel very clean and friendly. We have stayed only one night returning from summer holiday. Room was average but clean. It was very quite but isolation is not the best as you could here people talking in other room. Parking is secure and gates closing after 10pm. Receptionist very friendly. Breakfast average, continental. No option for English... More

Nice hotel, walking distance to the city center. Somewhat difficult to find in many hotels in Europe, our room was for 4 person. The room was bright and clean. We had booked for 3 but a 4th person was allowed to stay with no extra charge. The breakfast was good. The only minus I could find was that it was... More

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station, about 10 minutes slightly uphill. Rolling baggage was not a problem but the pavement can be a little uneven. I had a reasonable size room. Basically furnished with what looks like a new bathroom installation. Electric and an enclosed courtyard made it very quiet. The bed was comfortable. As others... More

Just arrived at Hotel Thurot. Nicw welcome and room very clean - looks out onto small courtyard so very quiet. All clean and tidy but no kettle or coffee making facilities - I came prepared though as this is normal in France. Good sized room with two decent sized double beds - and i am on my own so loads... most reviews fairly accurate. The room we stayed in was big and spacious with three beds as they didnt have any spare twins it had a large new bathroom. However, the beds definitely need replacing, very lumpy, not a good nights sleep at all!!. Quircky decor, typical of many 2* french hotels, blinds were a challenge to close, parking e5... More

We stayed for 2 nights here, basic room, why if you ask for a two bed room are you always given the worst aspect in the hotel? Beds showing their age, bathroom okay, parking at 5 euro a night a bit pricey, good location though walking distance to city. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

If you'd booked the Hotel Thurot for a stay of several days, you'd likely be disappointed. For one en route night, it's OK. The hotel does not have it's own restaurant, but is situated within 10 minutes walk of a wide range of reasonable establishments - Le Gril Faure is particularly good. The rooms are small with basic furniture. Beds... More

We visited Burgundy in Oct and set base in Dijon for the wine tours, booking Hotel Thurot in advance. The first thing we did was get the tourist map from the Information Center, and we had no difficulty at all making it on foot with rolling luggage within 10 mins from the train station. The hotel itself is pretty good... More
