Firstly, I want to say how awesome Dijon is. Have fun! This hotel is about 15mins walk from the train. All the sites are located between the station and the hotel. Hotel de ducs is an old hotel but it is clean and comfortable. more

Unfortunately, we had only one night to spend in Dijon, but the Hotel des Ducs served us perfectly. It is just around the corner from the main plaza and easy walking to some fascinating medieval buildings and the cathedral. We found the hotel surprisingly easy to get to using GPS and the lady at the front desk quickly directed us... more

We spent 2 nights in this hotel as a stopover between the Cote d'Azur and the Channel ports. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the beautiful city centre, close to all the historic sites and restaurants. We paid €64/rm/nt for the privilege, which, with the £/€ rate as it is currently, is quite a bit. The hotel... more

I spent four nights there with a group of experienced travellers in late May. We all appreciated its central location (within easy walking distance of the main sights and a great variety of cafes, restaurants and shops). My room overlooked an attractive courtyard garden but was noisy at night from cars and scooters driving along the narrow side-street below and... more

I should have read more of the TripAdvisor reviews first. We stayed here for a 1-night stay, and despite the "3-star" rating of this hotel, I honestly think the upkeep and room quality is deserving of at most 2 stars. Other than a good location in the city center, there is very little else to recommend this place. The rooms... more

We stayed here with my parents for two nights and were given one of the suites on the top floor (for the price of a regular room). The suite was huge with massive bedroom/living room, kitchen, and bathroom with spa bath and shower. Each room had a balcony door meaning we had a really long balcony at the front of... more

We only stayed here for one night in late August. The hotel is in an excellent location in the town centre and actually located on a street included in the walking tour of the town. We had an air conditioned room for four which consisted of two double beds pushed together in what should have been a normal double room!... more

We arrived in Dijon on a Sunday - so it was very quiet with all the shops closed. The hotel staff were very friendly, spoke OK English, and helped us find a small store to buy food and drinks from. The room was a good size and had a nice view out over the street. Definitely no complaints. Best of... more

The beds had insects. We complained and were rudely told it was our fault because we had opened the window - the insects were not on top of the bed but under the covers. There was no apology, not even friendliness, and certainly no compensation, and on top of that they were trying to blame us. There are other hotels... more
