Hotel Philippe le Bon is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful stuff. The room was great, (clean, large- in comparison with most rooms in France- and with a wi-fi connection). The hotel also has a great restaurant and a small bistrot to spend your time pleasantly. Its inside the old city and very close to interesting spots.I would... More

A good Hotel for a city trip! Everything was perfect, the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good furnished (a bit chilly). The bed vas very confutable and big. The only negative thing was that there is no room-service during the day. We wanted to have some wine and tea in room but that was... More

This hotel was in a good location and we found our room more than adequate. Lots of nice furnishings and a window onto a courtyard with lots of natural light. Bit surprised at some of the negative reviews as our room looked to be recently renovated. The bathroom was a little chilly but it was winter so nothing to complain... More

Very beautiful courtyard and elevator is handy for those with heavy suitcases. The wifi is also free and consitent unlike other hotels in Dijon. However, due to the high price I am picking the following small faults that at this price I believe are not so acceptable. Rooms are nice but bathrooms are very oddly renovated. There is a mix... Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment left on Tripadvisor. We are glad that you enjoyed our services and our beautiful courtyard. We have indeed listed buildings, including our gothic courtyard where you can easily rest after a day spent in Dijon. Regarding our rooms, we are currently refurbishing all our Privilège Rooms and Standard Rooms. Our Executive rooms were... More

Was any one out there booked into this hotel Oct. 5-8 and sent to City Loft hotel? We arrived by train in Dijon and took a taxi to this hotel, only to be handed a letter stating a 'technical, electrical' problem and we would have to stay at City Loft, a less quality hotel, we discovered upon arriving. My issue... More

I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews of this hotel as they don't match our experience. We stayed in room 106 'chamber executive' which is large, modern and spotlessly clean. It is above the bistro so there is some noise whilst the bistro is open and it might not suit people who are light sleepers and want... More

Enjoyed our stay at Phillipe le Bon! Overall the location was handy in old part of town and the reception staff were very helpful. The room (superior) was very nice, spacious and the bathroom modern. The restaurant was beautiful although expensive - unfortunately not open on Sundays. Breakfast is good. Would stay here again.

A superior double room booking ended up being a twin which bore little resemblance to the website image. The room was much smaller than anticipated and with dirty walls. Ended up not eating in the restaurant but breakfast was average at best despite premium rates. Of all our stays in France this one left us feeling cheated. Avoid.

Nice hotel, good location and a garden to relax in where meals and drinks can be enjoyed. We had a generous sized room in the old building which was nicely furnished.
