Stayed with our 2 kids in this very central hotel. The car park is across the street costs about 11 euros for 24 hrs. There is a nice quiet court yard connecting the reception, the rooms and the restaurant. This is a luxurious private space for an inner city hotel. Referring to other reviews, room 102 was big enough for... More

If arriving by car, stop in the street, get a ticket from hotel reception, then park in the multi storey carpark opposite the hotel. Rooms in the new part of the hotel are ordinary, but you stay there for the history and for the comfortably well patronised fine dining Restaurant les Oenophiles that boasts an excellent and very comprehensive wine... I would give 3 stars for experience but for location and beautiful breakfast area and restaurant, I give 4. For the price you pay, it is a great place in Dijon. Very old building that makes it super interesting. Do visit their breakfast area and restaurant. And if you are in Dijon, do visit Cafe/restaurant La Causerie des Mondes.

The hotel is well located, free wifi, the staff is kind and the price is very reasonable for what you get. The only big issue we had with this hotel is cleanliness. It's obvious they don't vacuum. The corridors were pretty filthy and a big crumb on our carpet inside the room stayed there for the duration of our stay.... More

Overnight stop allowed us to find this very central hotel.located immediately opposite a public car park the modern reception belies the character and attractive public rooms. Bedrooms are modern and clean. An excellent restaurant is part of the hotel which is well worth a visit for a memorable meal

Nice welcome and we got an upgrade so ended up with a big room in the old part of the hotel. Modern i;e; black walls, striped carpet, curtains with circles on. The bathroom also black walls. Ok but the main problem is there were hardly any lights so you were groping around trying to find things. The dispenser in the... More

The double-rooms are very small and the beds are small too with 120cm size. Also the bath room and toilet is small but newly renovated and clean. Our room was the only one where they forgot to tidy up in the morning. The Highlight of this Hotel is the Location and the romantic Restaurant serving good Food and wines.

We arrived in Dijon rather late the afternoon and after an argument with the car's GPS we finally stopped in front of the hotel. My wife and I looked at each other and I remember saying that this place looks anything but a 4 star hotel. The foyer did not help to inspire me any more and I had a... More

We want to rename this Hotel Philippe le Mal. Our “superior” room (#107) was the size of a postage stamp, much too small for two people for one night let alone four. It’s more like a mid-level business hotel for overnight stays with a dreary lobby and shabby public areas. Hideous and depressing décor: black walls and floors in both... More
