I assume the hotel is rated 3 stars by the owners and not by the guests.... As per other reviews it is in a seemingly good location but the street (and we were at the front of the hotel overlooking the street) can be quite noisey. The rooms and very ordinary and breakfast is in a room in the basement... more

My travel agent booked the Philippe le Bon for our 2 day stay in Dijon on our tour of France. The hotel is pretty on the outside, and well located with good close-by parking, but everything was just revolting and I could not recommend this hotel to anyone. We checked in (non smoking room requested) and went to our room... more

As with others, we took a "superior room" and paid a "superior" price. The room was OK for a basic standard 2* room, but very poor for a superior 3*. Although very central, the hotel was hard to find (not helped by a wrong location on an internet mapping site). And the breakfast was very mediocre. All in all, a... more

The advantages of the hotel are its central location and its secure car parking but be wary of the standard rooms overlooking the street which are functional in the extreme and in dire need of redecoration. It is relatively cheap - 3 nights there cost us the same as 1 night in the Villa Eugenie in Epernay which was superb... more

Booked rooms via innsoffrance as it gave the best price (euro 61 per room). Called on way through to advise of time we were to arrive as requested only to be told that they had no booking. Hotel couldnt have been more helpful at this time and fortunately they had rooms. On arrival provided copy of confirmation email with prices... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in July and were not disappointed with the location- very central, and with its own (free) car park. Our room, however, was incredibly tiny with separate toilet and bathroom leading off from an even tinier corridor as you go through the door. The double-bed seemed even smaller than a normal double, although I’m sure it... more

It started when we arrived and the desk clerk gave us the key and pointed us toward the elevator. We pushed the 2nd floor and we arrive onto a floor that was totally dark. So we went back to front desk and he accompanied us up the elevator. Apparently they are in a cost savings mod so you have to... more

Reasonably easy to find when arriving by car. Free private parking directly opposite hotel. Room a little small but adequate for a short stay. Bathroom fine. Value for money. more

We booked a 'superior' room which was small and basic, with a very outdated even smaller bathroom, and a separate WC so narrow that we kept banging our elbows. The lavatory was stained, and the pull cord for the extractor (which we then discovered did not work) so grubby that I wrapped tissue round the end. Breakfast, which was adequate,... more

Room was newly decorated and clean. The bed was a little hard but generally ok. Room had a fridge but no kettle. A couple of other observations: Reading the TP reviews a consistent complaint is small room sizes but they are not that bad. Our room had a built in wardrobe but for some reason they put a second large... more
