Stayed with my husband, 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter on our journey from Manchester to frejus. It was a little tricky to find but is in a lovely quiet spot in the backstreets. When I asked reception about buying a parking ticket, I was advised to just use the pay and display which was only a... More

Excellent value for money. Room and bathroom were clean and had a nice view of the street below. The room was a little hot but it was summer in France so that's to be expected! Just slightly outside main downtown centre but VERY accessible. We walked everywhere! Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the breakfast.

The place had a nice little lobby with games to borrow. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was a-ok. Located near antique shops and plazas, the hotel was centrally located. There was a time limit in that you had to get back in before (12?) or you needed a code. Do get a room on the Rue Verrerie side.... More

It was three of us. We got a bedroom for two nights and ended up paying 50 euros each. The hotel's location is very convenient literally. It's a 5 min walk from Republique, a 5 min walk to the Palais des Ducs. The hotel is relatively old, but pretty well maintained. It has a very funny feel to it. You... More

I stayed two nights at this hotel as a 50+ woman traveling solo. I wanted to love this quaint hotel, situated on a historic and picturesque street right out of Louis XIV's France. The reception person was friendly and I loved the hotel's décor and ambience. Unfortunately, I found it to be very hot and noisy, to the point where... More

Old-style French charm in an historic building in the heart of Dijon. I was on the third floor in I guess what would have been the servants' quarters, up a tiny wooden staircase, simple room with views over the rooftops, shared bathroom/ toilet, which was fine. It's not had much done to it over the years, and retains an old-fashioned... More

Stayed in May as part of an Intrepid Group Tour, what an awesome place, even more amazing was the buildings around the hotel dating back to the 17th Century, everything you need in this amazing city was within walking distance and I wish we could have spent more time there. The breakfast was included and was very nice; a good... More

And that is exactly why I am giving it 5 stars. We are budget travelers, and were looking for a hotel in a great location that offered a choice of shared facilities, just as the one we always use for our stays in Paris (Marignan). The Jacquemart delivered and even exceeded our expectations. Our top-floor room (#30) overlooked the street,... More

We found this hotel from the Lonely Planet France guidebook while travelling from Calais to Spain. We had nowhere booked as we didn't know how long we wanted to drive on the day. I'm very glad we had satnav, not sure we'd have found it otherwise. Very friendly, helpful staff both on checking in and out and with a great... More

This modest hotel is very well located in the old center of Dijon with many options for dining and drink nearby. The room was spacious and clean and had a sitting area right outside the room. Breakfast was ample with the same choices daily. The staff was extremely helpful. Good choice for budget travelers. Good internet.
