Start with the good: The room was spacious and the breakfast was adequate (we were even offered wine). The location is great for sightseeing--very close to Place de la Liberation/Musee des Beaux Arts/Palais des Ducs and many good restaurants. Now for the bad. The noise was absolutely intolerable. The layout of the place is odd to say the least. I was in an attic with no curtain, so there was a street lamp permanently shining through the window. We stayed in the Hotel Du Palais in Dijon in Sep 2008, and absolutely loved it. It is very quaint and certaily wouldn't be described as luxurious, however was extremely clean. The hotel manager was very friendly and approachable, and provided excellent service. The location was fantastic. Extremely good and highly recommended!
