I have read some of the other reveiews on this place and i wonder if we stayed in the same hotel ! I know that many of my British and American friends love to stay in this place because it is quaint and central, but i have stayed here 4 times and on my recent visit decided it would be my last. The hotel is quite simply not worthy of its 3 stars - there is no excuse for dirty rooms and towels that have not been washed. I have stayed in 4 different rooms in this hotel and every one has a bed with a matress which must be at least 50 years old. The rooms are badly isolated so its freezing in the winter and like a sauna in the summer. If you are unlucky enough to have someone in the room above, you can actually hear them turning over in bed - poor you if they snore - i always travel with earplugs, but this is ridiculous.
