This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. The family owners were the best host. The room slept three people comfortably and was beyond clean. Very old building in the very heart of Beaune, rooms are nice and clean and bathrooms are impeccable. The "formula" dinner downstairs is very good and not expensive. Atmosphere of the dining hall reminds you of a fairy tale. Service is great, owner and receptionist are just great. Beware of steep, long staircases and no elevator.

We just travelled from Nice to Beaune found the hotel very easily, the receptionist was fantastic, she spoke excellent English and even recommended some places to eat. We spent our honeymoon in Paris and Beaune. While we enjoyed Paris, Beaune really caught our hearts. We really enjoyed Beaune and the Abbaye. Our room was fairly small, but very nice and had a wonderful bathroom with a large tub. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a lovely restaurant with good food and wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Beaune.
