We were looking for a hotel in the heart of Beaune and this was it. An old Abbey - restored with modern comforts. The staff was beyond helpful and above and beyond nice. The hotel is steps away from the Notre Dame of Beaune. Beaune itself is fairly small so easy to walk to any location. The only thing I'd... More

We had the good luck thanks to Trip Advisor to stay here. It is a 13th century abbey with a roman wall that houses about 12 rooms. Ours was large with a gorgeous tile bathroom. The breakfasts were superb, and the staff was terrific. We wanted some traditional food so they sent us to The Grand Bleu where we enjoyed... More

I spent 2 weeks in France with my husband...four nights in Paris, one night in Beaune, and 5 nights in Lyon... I just haven't had a chance to review my French experience but feel a pang of guilt when I think that I haven't reviewed the Abbaye! Now months later, I had a great time but honestly can't remember the... More

From the moment we entered we were awed by the architecture. The smiling faces behind the desk were a great welcome. They helped us from everything from what vineyards to find to carrying our weighty baggage up the staircases. Our room was gorgeous and spotless, modern meets classic Burgundy. We would most definitely stay here again. Upon checking out, we... More

I stayed there with a friend, while visiting some wineries. This is an old Abbaye turned to a boutique hotel, so expect some tight spots as you walk up the stairs to your room (no lifts), but this adds to how unique this place is! Also, very pleasant and friendly people working there - they even treated us with a... More

This has to be one of the best and most unique hotels we have ever visited. It is an old church converted into a hotel. The entrance to the hotel is amazing - you enter into a cellar which has nice and romantic lighting. Then you are transported to an amazing room, which is super modern in all respects. The... More

Stayed here several nights this past July. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The rooms are spacious, really comfortable and of course old and beautiful. We had help getting our luggage up the steep stairs. The breakfast is eggs and meat to order; only had eggs. They were good. The bread basket is of course, with French breads. All... More

The hotel is situated right in the center of Beaune. It is within walking distance to most sites. The hotel itself is very old and historical. The rooms are comfortable and the service was fantastic (Betty, welcomed us and was energetic, very friendly and accommodating). Beware that there are no lifts in the hotel, only narrow staircases. There are public... More

In the picturesque village of Beaune, this boutique hotel will truly add to the experience with its very old character, tasteful decor and extremely pleasant staff! The rooms may not be particularly generous in size, but the layout is cleverly done.
