The highlight of visit to the charity hospital was the simplicity of the layout of 13 made up beds down each side of a ward. Some had models of nurses in uniforms of the time and patients. The pharmacy showed how suppositories were made and they found the cure for syphilis at Beaune. The Roger van der Velden painting is... More

This was definitely our favorite of the hotels we stayed at in all of france. The bathrooms are fantastic, double sinks which i rarely see in a european hotel. Centrally located and easy to walk around in town. The only critique i could think of is parking is a bit of a pain, but thats to be expected across any... More

This was the best of four hotels during our recent trip tp France. Our "Family Room" in the Annex was excellent, very spacious (including a large bathroom), and with a tasteful modern décor. The breakfast was fine, although the area by the reception where it was served was too small (wonder why they do not use their bistro for that).... More

We stayed at a Bistrot room. Apart from having to climb 44 steps to get there, it was a spacious and cozy room. The bathroom was big and had an excellent shower. The breakfast is very good, with a very good choice of cheeses and charcuterie.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last July. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are a few rooms outside of the main hotel, above a neighboring restaurant. We were placed in one of these rooms. I booked months in advance, not realizing that we might get placed in one of these rooms. In order to access the... More

When I visit Burgundy for wine tasting I base myself either in Beaune or in the countryside. The hotel de Beaune is comfortable, welcoming and very convenient. Breakfast is great, the rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant is one of the best in the area.

This is a very central hotel, consequently it has no parking of its own, but we were sold a card to use a municipal car park about 200 metres away where we were able to leave the car until mid-day the following day. Our room was 2 floors up over the Bistro, and was large with a comfortable bed, but... More

Lovely hotel in heart of Beaune. Steps away from all the restaurants and boutiques in town. My room was huge - bathroom alone was probably 15 by 20 feet, with heated floors, a great touch. Service was outstanding. Even though the bistro was technically closed on a Sunday night in winter, Johan squeezed us in. Highly recommended.

This hotel is just off the main square of activity and shops. It boasts a fabulous Bistro which reservations are a must, and is a quaint smaller hotel, with well appointed rooms and exceptional service. The outdoor seating is a perfect perch to witness all the coming and goings of Beaune. The restaurant is not to be missed, it is... More

This charming hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of town. We were given a terrific room. Elegant, cozy and spacious. (Loved the rich yellow draperies and the pot of white orchids.) The bathroom was enormous and very swanky. A nice deep tub, separate shower and a full kit of bathroom amenities. We enjoyed a splendid dinner at the hotel... More
