This B and B is located in a quiet spot a 10 minute walk to Beaune city and within easy drive to the wine regions of Burgundy. The separate entries make this B and B very quiet. But as mentioned in many other reviews its the owners Pascal and Marienne that make this accommodation special. They go out of their... More

Marianne and Pascal were the most welcoming hosts making our 5 day stay in Beaune perfect. We shared the delicious breakfasts with the them and the other guests and there were many very interesting conversations in both French and English, a great start to the day. Our room, La Violetta, was large, very comfortable and had been decorated with great... More

Pascal welcomed us and showed where to park, in the secure car park behind electric gates. He then showed us to our room, La Viollete. It is approached via a separate staircase at the rear of the house. Inside are two rooms, a smaller one with a child bed and the larger one with king size bed, table and chairs... More

Spacious and comfortable accommodations, gracious and friendly hosts, just a 10 minute walk from the city--what more could you want? The Violet Bedroom had a small receiving room; a large bedroom with larger and smaller beds, a sofa, and table for tea with seating for two; and a spacious bathroom with dual vanities. The gardens in the back extend 150... More

The charming, energetic Pascal build this house for himself, his lovely wife, Marianne, and us visitors. It's in an orchard (verger), the benefits of which you enjoy at breakfast. The house is modern, open, and nicely furnished. Our room was light, pretty, quiet and comfortable. The bed is fine and the one-button automatic shutter, which gives you complete darkness at... More

We stayed here as two couples and could not have been happier. The rooms are very nice, very comfortable beds and a lovely garden to enjoy our afternoon wine and snacks in. Pascal also offered us and we gratefully accepted some of his fresh tomatoes from his garden which were delicious. It's an easy 10 minute walk into town to... More

Just a short walk into the walled city of Beaune, this is a comfortable B&B with an excellent breakfast. Marianne and Pascal are very helpful, recommending restaurants and booking an excellent wine tasting for us in nearby Pernand-Vergellas. We stopped for just two nights and visited the Hospices de Beaune, which was very interesting. The B&B is very secure with... More

Our B&B room was a good size and the entire house is purpose-built for a B&B so everything works well.  The building shows the construction expertise of Pascal who built it himself not only to be a B&B, but also for his own home.  It is modern, well built and appointed.  We particularly liked how quiet it is (walls purposively... Where to start? Being in the travel and tourism industry (and in particular working in hotels), I am always one to find something wrong, or not quite right, wherever I stay. However, I could not fault a single thing during our stay at 'Le Verger du Sausset' in Beaune!! This B&B is located right outside the town of Beaune -... More

Situated a short, flat walk outside the old town of Beaune this very pleasant house was hard to fault. It has off street, secure parking and a very large back garden. The rooms are very well appointed and spacious. Our hosts Pascal and Marianne could not have been more helpful. We had to return a rental car so Pascal insisted... More
