We booked this hotel as our children wanted the experience of staying in a real Chateau. Unfortunately the family rooms are located in what may have once been a stable or out building. The room was without doubt the smallest family room we stayed in in all of Europe and also the most expensive. For the night we were there,... More

We spent a wonderful few days in Burgundy and one of the best parts of the trip was staying at the Chateau de Challenges. Small but charming rooms and a staff that was not just helpful. We got the feeling that we were more like personal guests than hotel guests. There are lovely gardens and good wine to enjoy while... More

We spent 1 night at the Chateau de Challanges. The staff were very friendly and our room absolutely lovely. There are a few good restaurants in the village of Levernois close by. Breakfast was very good..we will go back if we are in that area.

Actually, the chatêau is a charming property in the outskirts of Beaune, surrounded by a green park and pleasant gardens. Really beautiful. We stayed in an executive room in a roundhouse by the garden. Very spacious, comfortable and well furnished, with 2 double beds. Bathroom was large and modern. Highly recommendable. Only two bad notes: 1.My booking form stated that... More

Used this wonderfully peaceful chateau as a stop off on our way home. It was a delight. Our room 302 was large, clean, and the bathroom was vast. A small menu was available, but we chose to eat out. Breakfast was ok, not the best not the worst. Would deffinatley use this hotel again

Very pleasant stay, nicely decorated room, not inexpensive, however rather small. Would not have done for more than a night or two. We had a verandah out onto the pool and could see larger rooms set out in the gardens which, upon investigation, were larger.

Stayed here for a couple of days for our visit to Beaune. The chateau is a less than 5 min drive from the city centre which makes it an ideal place to relax at. The staff here are lovely and courteous. Thank to you all for making our honeymoon stay even more special. We enjoyed everything from the pool to... More

The hotel is located a few km outside of the center of Beaune in a very nice and peaceful park. You can reach the town very easy in about 5 minutes by car. The area with the pool and the garden where you can relax in one of the lounger is indescribable. The check-in was very professional and friendly and... More

Very quaint chateau, warm approachable staff, and a renovation that maintains the character while making the stay feel more modern. The host graciously set up a dinner reservation for us, and the pool was refreshing. I only wish our room, albeit an entry-level one, was a little bigger. There was barely room to maneuver around the bed and lay out... More

Just below Dijon you'll find this chateau in the midst of a small forest next to the péage. But the péage is far away when you are here, it is unnoticeable. Heated pool (already in May) and serene environment. 10 Minutes away from Beaune, the Capital of the Great White Wines filled with great restaurants, shops, boutiques, arts, bars and... More
