We have stayed for two nights while wine tasting in the area. The hotel has a fabulous presence, the house itself and the grounds. All staff were excellent- very friendly, helpful and trained according to the hotel's 4*. However our garden room, despite its direct access to the swimming pool area, was more like 2*. It smelled of mould and... More

extremely charming hosts. Excellent rooms in the former stables. Spacious with private terrace on pool/garden side. Convenient park place. Breakfast in the charming chateau with larger choice than normal french breakfast. No dining facilities but list of outstanding restaurant within a few kilometers. Excellent WIFI in the rooms. Not words enough to write down all good comments. A stay here... More

The hotel is beautiful. We didn't get to stay inside because we had booked one of the family rooms which seem to be in newly built round houses in the grounds. These were very comfortable and clean with an excellent bathroom. Our breakfast was delivered through a hatch from the outside and ends up in our wardrobe (which the children... More

The hotel was amazing from the outside , very charming with a large garden, nice terrace and long driveway. You could not fault the staff who were very attentive. The room was a bit small and could have been a little nicer , but was clean. I enjoyed my stay here and it was not far from the town , however... More

After a long hot day in the car arriving at this castle-turned-hotel was a worthy start of our holiday. The pool was just what we needed! Actually we stayed two days to also enjoy Beaune and its surroundings and for this purpose the hotel's bycicles were very convenient (note: we did have to pay). The building itself quite very beautiful... More

Set in one of the beautiful regions of France, this hotel has all the charm one could wish for. Located in a small village just minutes from the city of Beaune it is a peaceful oasis. The staff was very helpful, ready with maps, tips, telephoning reservations, everything to make the stay that much more lovely. Our room was spacious,... More

A fun trip is a product of how you prepare, expect right, and have good surprises. Our stay in Beaune was an exemplary experience of a fun trip. My wife and I stayed at Chateau de Challanges three nights in the last week of June. A wonderful stay, thanks to Arnaud, I believe that's his name, at the front desk.... More

We're a family of four - two adults, two daughters ages 7 & 10, and we visited the chateau in July 2014. This chateau was simply charming. More beautiful than I expected. We stayed in a suite upstairs with a very nice double bed and a bed that was made into a double in the sitting room. The decor was... More

The hotel, its accommodation and facilities exceeded our expectations and we will certainly – circumstances permitting – hope to stay again next year. Discreet, friendly and charming service. Good breakfast.

We overnighted on our way home from the south, we were met with friendliness and efficiency, our room on the first floor overlooking the pool was very comfortable. Not having a restaurant on site they recommended one 4 minutes drive away which was excellent. On the negative side it would have been good to have a restaurant on site and... More
