We have two rooms, our was very neutral, but our children one was very nice. The localization is good, near the city center, however the parking is very small for big car (we rent a ford galaxy). Breakfast is good , and staff are efficient and nice. more

Booked through a discount hotel website this was an excellent stay in Beaune, the hotel staff were polite and helpful, the room was very clean, a great size, very comfortable bed and pillows, flat screen TV, and best of all a bath! On our way back from Italy, we spent one night at the Novotel Annecy - large, bright, comfortable room - and one night at the Henri II in Beaune. The room we had was very small, very dark and gloomy ( decorated in old French style, right down to the flock wallpaper! ) with an equally dark and gloomy bathroom.... more

It is true, you better don’t have a large car or you exhibit excellent driving skills; the underground parking is a nightmare. Just stayed one night as part of a wine tour of Italy and France. We had a ground floor room which was perfectly adequate and being at the back was nice and quiet. Bathroom again was adequate. The Hotel is on the main road from the A6 into the town. It is situated on the left just before you get to the town gate. The car parking is through a driveway next to the hotel but you need to ask reception to open the gate. the underground car park is very dark but has plenty of spaces.... more
