We have two rooms, our was very neutral, but our children one was very nice. The localization is good, near the city center, however the parking is very small for big car (we rent a ford galaxy). Breakfast is good , and staff are efficient and nice. more

On our way back from Italy, we spent one night at the Novotel Annecy - large, bright, comfortable room - and one night at the Henri II in Beaune. The room we had was very small, very dark and gloomy ( decorated in old French style, right down to the flock wallpaper! ) with an equally dark and gloomy bathroom.... more

It is true, you better don’t have a large car or you exhibit excellent driving skills; the underground parking is a nightmare. We had booked a superior smoking room but were told at check-in that there were no superior rooms for smokers; that’s the hotel’s policy! Just stayed one night as part of a wine tour of Italy and France. We had a ground floor room which was perfectly adequate and being at the back was nice and quiet. Bathroom again was adequate.
