We often use Novotel hotels both in the UK and France, so are very used to the standard that they offer. This is one of the larger hotels that we have stayed in, and it possibly suffers a little as a result. Reception staff were polite rather than friendly, but didn't react well to being asked for quiet rooms -... more

So easy to find - straight over the roundabout off the Peage (travelling North). Stopped off on speck at about 17.30. No problem getting family room for the four of us. Both kids free (including buffet breakfast). Clean, modern and spacious (until put out kids sofa beds but then everyone is sleeping!).Only quibble would be that the separate W.C does... more

Arrived here after a long drive from Cannes areal! Reception busy but welcoming. Playstaions and lego for children and we had 4 with us, 11, 10, 3 and 1. Booked inter connecting rooms but we are always nervous that this request will be lost in translation. No problem and sofa bed prepared and more than cosy for our 3 year... more

ok so we stayed here quite a while back as a family and to be honest the service then was quite bad. when we arrived, we found that staff were friendly and helpful but were soon disproved by the fact that the supposed front desk manager (or supervisor - we still dont know) didnt even know how to operate their... more

It was a newly refurbished room (except the toilet??) but when all beds were out there is no room - ok when beds are up. Very busy on weekends and every idiot in a Porsche or BMW park over two parking bays and parking gets tight. Restaurant below average. Ok place to sleep - not a place to stay -... more

First let me say that the hotel is in fact a 25 minute walk away from the center of Beaune. Now with that bit of info out of the way the hotel is modern, clean and very nice. The cab ride from the train station to the hotel was about 8 Euros. The service was wonderful and the staff delightful.... more

This hotel only has the merit of convenience. It is on an estate on the outskirts of town with loads more hotels - all equally plasticky and modern. The service was not especially quick; the room barely three star with a lovely view of the road running round the hotel estate. We ate (very well) elsewhere in town which is... more

We stayed at Novotel Beaune as a stopover from Nice to Dieppe. The hotel is modern and very clean .The reception area has a play area for children with playstation and building bricks .There is a bar area, which is a lovely place to relax ,although the drinks are a little expensive -4 Euro's 40 for a fruit juice. The hotel... more

We stayed at the Novotel for one night as part of a 3-week motorbike tour of Europe. We had been travelling up from Antibes and were en route to Paris; we'd been on the bike for 350 miles / 10 hours and it was starting to chuck down with rain, so this was the first hotel we got to once... more

The reception staff are excellent... more
