This manor was the most beautiful property that we have ever been to. We were eagerly greeted when we arrived, by a warm hostess. We took the Burgundian suite, which is on the lower floor of the small chateau. Every detail was perfectly done. Very nice, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and quiet. The breakfast served was truly outstanding. We have... More

Very peaceful location in the centre of Beaune. Rooms are very spacious and decorated appropriately for a high end B&B. Breakfast is very good with a great selection. If I had one or two negative comments it would be that there isn't enough room for all the residents (there are only 4 rooms) to have breakfast at the same time... More

A wonderful, quiet retreat in winter off-season. Traditional rooms, wonderful breakfasts, a marvelous introduction to the wonders of Beaune and Burgundy. Excellent central location, easy to walk everywhere. Only problem is transfer from SNCF station, few city taxes available. May be best to arrange transfer with hotel in advance.

I stayed in room 4 upstairs which was quite spacious and comfortable. Staff was very kind and had coffee for me each morning before breakfast which was included and very good. You can order optional eggs etc but the continental breakfast was adequate. One word of caution if you have heavy luggage request a ground level room. Yes I would... More

First of all the host Valerie was wonderful and extremely helpful, sadly she is only an employee. We paid 277 euros per night since parking has to be paid separately at 15 euros per night. Now this is what we got 1. Wi fi does not work in the rooms ! 2. There are no elevators so you have to... More

Forget the traditional bed and breakfast format, this wonderfully appointed and presented accommodation takes the concept to a different level. Just four chambres each the size of a one-bedroom apartment with king size bed, TV area and en suite off with free standing bath and huge, wet area with shower. Our room opened onto a spacious terrace area with reading... More

Unless you want a luxurious private ( 4 Room) B&B which is more like a private home. A lovely courtyard with fountain. Wonderfully furnished rooms. ( mine was number 4). A wonderful breakfast reception area. Steps away from the center of Beaune. But go somewhere else because it's hard enough to book a room here and I want to come... More

We used to go to hotels in town or just outside, favoring those with nice restaurants. Deceived by the level of accomodation, we decided to scout for an alternative. Why did we not do this before ? Superb setting, very nice decoration, calm location nevertheless close to centre ... and ... exceptional hosts. And if you want to go home... More

If you want serious privacy, a comfortable and spacious room, and a lovely locally-sourced breakfast, Chez les Fatien is a delight from start to finish. If you need a lot of Downton Abbey amenities and attention, perhaps look elsewhere. For within the bleak stone walls, it has only four rooms, each overlooking a most charming private courtyard. We arrived on... More

This is a remarkable place. The location is in the center of Beaune within easy walking distance of key attractions. The gounds are old world with stone walls. Our room was huge with stone walls and a completely comfortable bed, but modern lights and wi-fi. One foot on the stairs at night would kick-in the lights. The owner's son is... More
