Like most reviewer said, the rooms were clean, but they are also very small as is the bathroom. My main problem was the noise. Even with the windows closed we heard trucks, motorbikes, and cars all night long. Our room overlooked an alley, but three busy streets converged at the hotel and the sound rolled down the alley. My wife... More

The place is basic, very basic. For us it was more a backpackers B&B Lodge than a Hotel. The tiny reception is practically in the breakfast room, where guests are sitting nearly cheek to cheek. Our room was extremely noisy and you hear all your neighbors whatever they do. The room doors slam with big bangs and we felt as... More

1 night stay only but we would never recommend or return here. Our room was nothing at all like the photos shown when we booked. The receptionist was a very pleasant young woman but this did not make up for the room. Walls were thin and the room above had the noisiest plumbing possible. Our bathroom and toilet were very... I have to say from the start that this place was spotlessly clean but one night was enough. Obviously converted from a large house the dividing walls are paper thin and the corridor is only just wide enough to walk down without turning sideways. The room door slams itself shut with sufficient force to make the corridor walls shake in... More

Stayed here on the way to Spain. After travelling 7 hours on the road we got to the hotel to find it was.not open until 4pm. This did give us time to visit Beaune itself which is lovely but a shower beforehand would have been nice! Check in was fine, room was nice and modern but hot and needed air... More

We picked the quaint hotel Alesia because it was located in Beaune, the center of Burgundy wine-production, but easily accessible from the highway. It is also fairly good value (well under 100 Euros per night) - and turned out to be a basic 3-star accommodations. It was easy to find - but check-in was perfunctory, not much of a greeting... More

We stayed here one night in late June. Pro’s: This place is spotlessly clean, conveniently close to the motorway, has free on-site parking, and pleasant english-speaking staff. The beds were ok, and the bathroom ok too. But the downside is that there is very little space, i.e. the rooms are very small so a big suitcase can hardly fit on... More

We stayed here on a trip to and from the South of France. It's very well situated from the motorways - about 3 minutes - a small 17 room hotel. Spotlessly clean rooms - we saw 2 different ones - and very well equipped,if rather small rooms. Breakfast very nice in pretty breakfast room. Not cheap, just short of 100... More

My husband and I always stay here for the night on our way to Paris or Brussels. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a very nice breakfast and the people that work there are very nice and helpful.

A small, friendly, nice hotel, great value for money. Our triple room was on a small side, with one queen bed and a single one, perfectly ok for one night. Bathroom was ok as well. Yes there were some noises from other guests bathrooms, but nothing disturbing. If you are on a stopover, though, plan some time for a walk... More
