This was a romantic night away with my hubby. The hotel was very charming but in need of some TLC. This hotel deserves to be busier that it is. We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard of comfort on offer for a very reasonable price. This is a lovely hotel but there is a lack of senior management/proprietor. Everything left to be managed by staff who were great. What a shame. This is a very charming, original hotel. However, we got a standard "Napoleon" room which was facing onto the street. There was very little, if any, sound-proofing and we could hear all the cars, motocycles, and the garbage truck passing by. We had a very disrupted sleep. I liked the hotel, but not the room.

This hotel is in a small village and and had so much character...there is a center courtyard where the carriages brought guests in the 1700's...rooms are lovely although one must be careful of the beams throughout.
