This is an hotel at the outskirts of Auxerre. The room was quite spacious with basic furnitures. Very thin walls with all the acustic consequences. Breakfast was quite standard. Nice outdoor swimming pool. A good point was the prize that was very reasonable.

We were on our way from Nantes to Bavaria and used this hotel for our stop, the room was nice and clean however it was above the kitchen on the back side, had to keep our window closed. The bar was next to reception and staff were very good. Stay away from the restaurant not so good.

We decided to turn off the conditioning air about 01.00 am for the deafening noise of the fan, but it was impossible. We tried to contact the reception but the phone of the room was broken. After several attempts to try to sleep I decided to call (with international call) the reception. To the first call we had a chat... More

Les Clairions hotel & restaurant is located at the N6 in the Northern outskirts of Auxerre about 3kms from the A6 highway. The hotel is in a calm area and surrounded by half-a-dozen good & priceworthy restaurants. The hotel was built in 1975 and had its last renovation in 1998. Les Clairions has a true seventies, yet friendly atmosphere. There... More

Hotel is one of the first city buildings, not too far away from centre and close to shopping district. Rooms are ok, clearly dating back the early eighties with moquette everywhere, vaguely smelling of dust, especially in the corridors. Rates reasonable (at around 73 euro/night for a double plus 10,50 for breakfast) and a very handy garage at a minimal... More

The hotel provided good value for the price with decent rooms (beds were a bit small -- for two people), free wifi, tiny tv in room, bathroom is decent although the toilet seats are VERY low (don't know why) and only equipped with towels. Great for a one-two night(s) stopover. Lots of restaurants around and not too far from the... More

Stopped overnight en route to Morvan Parc in Burgundy. Pleasant hotel easily accessible from the Autoroute and found easily despite torrential rain! Reception welcoming. Hotel could maybe do with a little updating but perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. Food in restaurant was excellent - almost cordon bleu - and served with a smile. Buffet breakfast good. Good value for... More

Best place to stay on the road near Auxerre and for visiting the Chablis area. Large, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast. This is a "business" hotel, perched on the outskirts of a growing zone of activity, with lots of road style restaurants within a short walk. Staff speaks English and likes to do that as well. I'll return... More
