My family visited the domaine early august 2015. We were positively suprised. After a confusion with the booking (they did something wrong, but sorted it all out (we got a better room I think)) every thing went fine. The Domaine offers wine tasting of excellent wine produced at the spot, the domaine is perfectly located if you want to explore... More

The B&B is very basic. We were unfortunate to have a room with a penetrating smell. Not very pleasant but we had to cope with it. Luckily we only stayed one night. Before dinner we attended a cellar tour followed by a pleasant tasting of all wines from the property. Some bad, some very good. All presented by a friendly... More

Vivabox is a gift-box company like bongo, red-letter.. we received a weekend wine-tasting gift. The vivabox description of the property is obviously re-written to "sell" the chateau side and make it sound a lot grander than it really is. So we felt a bit let down, as we expected a very special romantic weekend. This is a family run vineyard,... More

We so enjoyed an excellent overnight stay. The wine tour was most informative, superb wines couldn't resist buying a few cases.. Accommodation was fine.Evening meal excellent and the wine flowed.Lovely to sit round the one table with different nationalities, great fun. The staff were superb, certainly service with a smile. Even the local gendarme went the extra mile by escorting us to... More

Within half hour of arriving here, we were taking part in their wine tasting evening, which was a lot of fun. Dinner should be eaten there as this little town (Escolive-Sainte-Camille) has no restaurants of note. Spent three days there, eating dinner en famille with tourists from Germany, Austria, Holland, and Switzerland. What a great experience! Breakfast is included in... More

We booked as a stop gap whilst crossing France trying to escape some miserable weather. It is so pretty. The facilities are excellent. The food and wines are simply lovely. You have to stop, taste the wine and buy. Dinner was 4 courses. Excellent local food. Different wine with each course. Super company, no one spoke anyone else's language well... More

As part of a recent trip to France, we had decided to revisit the Caves of Bailly that we had enjoyed on a previous visit to the Burgandy region back in 2006 when we were cruising on the Nivernais canal. This time, we were driving down to another canal boat adventure in the Camargue region. We found Domaine Borgnat on... More

we have stayed three times, once in the gite for a week and twice in the chambres d'hotes. It is always a pleasure to arrive. Comfortable clean accommodation with good table d'hotes available and wine tasting in the cellar. The owners and their staff are the perfect hosts. The area offers good walking by the Nivernais canal and many wine villages and Auxerre,... This is an excellent place for a pleasant stay at a winery. Good rooms and facilities including a swimming pool and parking. Excellent and plentiful food. Good wines although not outstanding. Talk on the wines was a bit patronising but really I am just looking for something negative to say, because this is recommended.

We stayed here for the first night of our holiday. When we arrived we just had enough time for a swim before the wine tasting, so we dropped off our bags in our room (which was actually a suite - most unexpected but very comfortable) and rushed down for a dip in the pool. The wine tour and tasting was... More
