Our third stay here, it was as good as ever. Set just across from the lake, but far enough not to be bothered by mozzies. Lots of parking. No lift. Comfortable rooms, bit small but adequate. Nice food but very restricted menu. Three choices of starters and the same with main, not so easy for a vegetarian. Very friendly staff.... More

We stayed while visiting family in the area. We liked the location and found it easily. We had no problems and the hotel was fine.as an older couple, we were surprised there was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor but it was easy to manage.

Standard Ibis- small rooms, basic but functional. Bed comfortable and free wifi throughout, big tick for that. Parking free and seemed safe. Dinner pleasant and nice wine and breakfast very good. If you have a lot of bags you may find rooms cramped or if you plan to work in your room but otherwise it's fine. Pleasant reception staff. My... More

Ideal for a stopover en route to somewhere, or couple of nights. Not the greatest Ibis, but it was clean and the bed was comfy. Room quite small - about the same size as the Etaps. Toilet seat was a bit wonky and slid off when you sat on it! However, the shower was excellent. Thin walls and you could... More

Ideal hotel for a one or two night stop. Reception friendly and helpful, nice location with view of frozen lake and Roman amphitheatre from bedroom. Room compact but clean and freshly decorated with large and comfortable bed. Bathroom clean and fully equipped. Didn't bother with restaurant as these are usually overpriced in Ibis for what you get. €51.00 for the... More

Hotel is beautifully situated in the hills of Burgundy on the shore of a small lake. The town of Autun has several pleasant restaurants, brasseries etc., as well as Roman gates and a superb Roman amphitheatre! A good (and quiet) place to stay if headed South from the Channel ports to the South of France.

This is a privately run hotel, within the Ibis chain - but it's not up to the normal Ibis corporate standards. We had a very pleasant room overlooking the town and a great view to the chateau and hills beyond. The room was slightly larger than average, very clean, but with a window opening over the smokers seeking refuge from... More

First of all, the staff at this hotel were excellent- nice, friendly and very efficient. The rooms left much to be desired, however. They gave new meaning to the word "cozy": our room was so small that we had to step onto the bed to access the wardrobe. The shower was so powerful that the water just jetted directly down,... More

I spent one night here last June while attending a conference in Le Creusot. This hotel is pleasant enough, and inexpensive. The rooms are quite small, but they look to have been recently updated. Don't come here looking for Olde Worldie charm; this is a functional hotel. The staff were fairly helpful (by the standards of this part of the... More
