I have stayed at Les Ursulines on several occasions and have always found the staff and service first class. The rooms I have stayed in are very clean and quiet. The restaurant is excellent. I look forward to future visits.

Breaking our journey at Autun, we had no idea what to expect. Les Ursulines is undergoing renovation and so is a bit mixed. The hotel is pretty average really - definitely not luxury yet. The staff were great, the room was ok, the breakfast was generous and ok. No shower which was disappointing - just a hand set over a... More

Positives : The staff of the hotel, the food in the restaurant Negatives: The room (111) was very basic and decor very tired High parking charges for the garage but limited street parking Only one cup but double room. Double bed was in fact two twins pushed together Breakfast was a big disappointment - bacon overcooked, scrambled eggs inedible, limited... More

Excellent location in the older part of town , close to the spectacular cathedral. First impressions at reception very good. Lovely formal courtyard garden area with views over the surrounding countryside. Our 2nd floor room (201) at 106 euro was quite small with sloping ceilings, but well decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was very basic with a bath and hand... More

On the les Ursulines own website it states it is a 3 star hotel, then again it is quoted as a 4 star at some websites, also on the entrance of les ursulines there is a 4 star marking. So I am not sure what it is. My room is very good size but the décor is basic and worn,... More

The airconditioned room with comfortable separate beds and view on the inner square was fine. However, WLAN speed in the room was very slow. Better in the lounge and the restaurant. Rather basic breakfast, but OK compared to French standards. The restaurant is rather pretentious. The wine selection is fine, but the beef was overcooked and the cheese platter came... More

The hotel rooms are absolute not worth the price asked. Location is great and the city of Autun is good to spend one day in it. Friendly staff.Restarant has perfect food, however the wine list is very expensive. Considering to go back we don't major reason for that are the old small rooms and the really to high price for... The location of the Ursulines is wonderful in the high town area of Autun near the cathedral. The view from the terrace is outstanding. It used to be a marvellous place to stop on the journey from England to the South of France but sadly no more. The whole place looks more and more tired. The parking is underground alongside... The hotel is situted nicely in the old town of Autun - near the cathedrale. The exterior and gardens is nicely appointed. On the contrary, our room was filthy, too small to deposit even a small suitcase and the bathroom has a large area of black mildew in it. It also lacks a shower curtain or glass door, so should... My wife and i stayed for two nights in Hotel Les Ursulines in Autun. Quietly situated in the old town part of Autun near the cathedral. Friendly and helpful reception.
