Close to a town and many attractions, yet such a deep-countryside feel. Old-world architecture and style, yet cutting-edge comfort and mod-cons. A babbling brook beside it, a cubist-style pool, great wine, top food - what more could one want? Well, that would be Trevor, the congenial Englishman racouteur host, and Evelyn, his charming, efficient French wife who quietly keeps all... More

My husband and I just finished a three-night stay at Moulins Renaudiots and found it to be everything and more other reviewers have described. Owners Evelyne and Trevor Morgan have only owned the property for two seasons, but you'd thinks they'd been hosting guests for decades. They are consummate hosts, warm and welcoming, seeing to their guests needs above and beyond what... More

the building, gardens, rooms and style of this lovely small hotel were amazing. Our suite was very large and a great comfortable bed. The breakfast was a perfect size and set up on a long table waiting for us each morning. We enjoyed meeting the owners who it seems love what they are doing! The internet connection at this "out... We finally managed to get to stay at this guest house for three days in September. It was full the last time we tried to book and now we know why it is so hard to get a room. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place. The gardens are amazing and the river running by the house adds to... More

Trevor and Evelyne have a wonderful home here in the countryside on the edge of Autun and their very warm welcome made our stay at the Moulin a really enjoyable experience. The grounds and garden next to the river just add to the relaxing environment. They were wonderful hosts, offered great suggestions on the local area and we enjoyed spending... More

We enjoyed our stay here of 3 days. It was very quiet and relaxing as there is no TV or radio but relaxing CD's in the communal lounge where you could enjoy a chat and drink with fellow travellers. The owners Evelyne and Trevor were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with stylish retro furniture and had a... More

My fiancée and I stayed here for two nights as part of a trip to Italy. It's not the easiest place to find, but well worth it for the beautiful surroundings. Trevor and Evelyn were immediately very friendly and hospitable. We felt very much at home after a long day on the road and joined them and four other guests... More

This is a converted mill house with beautiful grounds a few miles outside of Autun. The rooms are large, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable. It is very quiet with lovely views. The couple that owns and manages are very helpful and friendly. An ample breakfast is included and on some nights they serve a gourmet meal. If in the area... More

We stayed at the Moulin for 3 nights in June. We certainly had a very pleasant stay-all the lovely touches that others have talked about. Evening drinks and canapes on the terrace is an occasion to get chatting to the other guests, followed by dinner cooked by Trevor. We had 2 meals which were very nice but overpriced at 50euros.... We stayed at the Moulin for two nights August 2013 and it was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Trevor and Evelyn are charming hosts, and they did everything to make our stay in this gorgeous spot as memorable and comfortable as possible. The table d’hôte is not to be missed. The food and wine were delicious... More
