We stayed at Domaine d'Eperviere for 5 nights with our own tent and payed €231 for a family of 4 persons. According to my experience, this is about two times as much as one would pay for a camping municipal with the same number of stars. Given the price, I would expect clean toilets and sanitary. However, I noticed only... More

We have stayed at this campsite several times in the past. It is strategically placed between Provence and the Channel ports and the southern part of Burgundy is a great place to spend a quiet few days, we would particularly recommend visiting Tournus for its abbey and Sennecy-le-Grand for its unusual S.A.S. museum. Further afield within an hour is Beaune... More

We recently stayed a week at the Domaine du Chateau de L'Eperviere. The campsite is located in the pretty little village of Gigny-sun-Soane and not too far from the Autoroute Dijon - Lyon road. However, do mind the blind junctions through the village on the approach to the site! The campsite itself is well landscaped with a quaint chateau and... More

We've stayed at the Chateau de L'Eperviere on several occasions either as a first night stop-over after leaving Calais or en route home. It's a fairly good hike down to Gigny sur Saone from Calais so we are particularly appreciative of [a] the friendly welcome and ease of booking into the site, [b] the large pitch sizes and ease of... We saw this campsite advertised as a great place as a stopover, so decided to stop off for one night on our route down to Southern France. The site is in a nice location and can't fault the facilities. However, we were very disappointed with the attitude of one member of staff who served us who made us feel unwelcome... More

Campsite is great. Facilities very good. My family say the pool was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Resteraunt wonderful in its chateau setting. My youngest daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our half day bike hire session. Only thing I would comment on was why there was a big pond in the middle of it. we will be going back... More

We stayed 2 nights at this campsite on our way to the French Alps. We were placed on a nice pitch near to one of the lakes. The facilities were close for us, but seemed quite a trek for others situated further down the site. They were clean enough but maybe the site could do with another set of wash... More

We have stayed here a couple of times in a canvas mobile on our way home from the south of France. I can't fault the site, it's beautiful, very, very relaxing and quiet, and if you like peace and quiet then you'll get it here! The campsite restaurant is renowned for it's 'Beef Bourguignon' and yes I would recommend it... More

Tranquil campsite with plenty of rustic charm. We only stayed for one night , as an ideal for stop over en route south, but enjoyed the atmosphere and we plan to return. The highlights for us were ........the cute ducks to feed , the beef bourguignon on sale (just bring your own pan), seeing a beaver swimming in the river... More

We stayed here en-route to Northern Spain. What a fabulous place. Although a little difficult to find, when we did we were very impressed. The site itself was picturesque and clean. The chateau produces its own wine which was very crisp and lovely. The menu needs to be revamped to accomodate more normal food, although there was a pizzeria which... More
