Le Domaine de l’Eperviere A night was spent here in Burgundy in September 2014 in a Eurocamp 2 bed mobile with decking. We did stay here for several days many years ago but in the past 10 years this site at Gigny-sur-Saone has been our stop-over location on a dozen occasions as we travel to and forth from the Riviera,... We travelled and stayed with Eurocamp. This site was our stopover in the way to and from the south of France. It's a simple and quiet site, quite picturesque but nothing special. We were a family of 9 mostly adults, with one infant. Not our sort of site particularly, and we were put off on our return stay. The guy... More

We can thoroughly recommend staying in one of the apartments in the chateau - the site was very well maintained and the accommodation very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent - service and food were very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Can recommend visiting Tournus and Louhans which were both excellent.

We had pitch 18 - close to the facilities and spacious. Shop - great, Toilets - clean, Showers - hot and clean, Restaurant - very good ! Friendly welcome, good pitch. Only downside is the WiFi, which is only available close to or in the bar, and is slow. The chemical toilet emptying point is out in the drive where... More

This is a beautiful campsite in the grounds of a chateau. Pitches are a very generous size and the facilities are clean and modern. Excellent reception and very well-stocked shop. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a paddling pool for children. The site is of a very high standard, perfect looking bikes for hire, fantastic restaurant, lots of information on... More

My husband & I recently spent 5 nights camping in this lovely campsite & had a fabulous time. We had a pitch overlooking the lake which was gorgeous although the ducks did quack a lot at fairly unsociable hours! We got used to them after a couple of nights though. We loved the indoor & outdoor swimming pools which never... More

We stayed in the ground floor apartment of the chateau for a week in mid-August with our children aged 5 and 10 months. Having had many holidays in France and stayed in similar accommodation before, I can honestly say that this was the best by far. The apartment was clean and modern but retained the old, original features of the... More

Just returned from a 12 night stay at this campsite and we have had a truly great holiday. We had a pitch in the section of the campsite over the bridge which is based around a central playing field/playground. Great to find a campsite where our children (10 and 7) can play in a large field space so close to... More

Camping L’Eperviere is situated in a quiet village near Sennancy, which is a bike ride away. Also you can bike down to the river. The town of Tournus is nearby and has a lovely Abbey, worth visiting. There are few Chateaus in the area to visit but we didn’t find much else. We ate in the restaurant several times and... More

We stayed at Domaine d'Eperviere for 5 nights with our own tent and payed €231 for a family of 4 persons. According to my experience, this is about two times as much as one would pay for a camping municipal with the same number of stars. Given the price, I would expect clean toilets and sanitary. However, I noticed only... More
