As soon as you step foot into this hotel you are made to feel welcome by the owners, they advise on trips to take, the best scenery around and best of all the best eateries, and on using one of them just around the corner from the hotel, found both of them and friends using it, what more of a... more

Great location and short walk from the main area. Very quite location, the room was nice and the shower room recently re-furbished. If we return to St Malo we would definitely stay here again. Staff freindly and helpful. more

We enjoyed our 1 night stay in this hotel. The location was good and easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and cafes. Room and bathroom was clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was included and was good. The breakfast room was lovely and had a glassed roof. The owner of the hotel spoke excellent English and was responsive to our needs.... more

Host's were great- listen to the advice about restaurants because the one they sorted out for us suited us perfectly. Hotel is quiet no lifts so no clonking all night. Garage parking available but slightly involved. Room was clean, fresh and properly aired and the beach 100 yards at the end of the street. more

Having arrived in St Malo as foot passengers we were looking for a simple, traditional hotel within walking distance of the ferry terminal. This hotel easily met our needs. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. We didn't have breakfast however as there are no shortage of cafes in the walled part of the city infact there is... more

This was a good choice for an overnight stop prior to taking a flight from Dinard. The single room on the second floor was compact; the bed was very comfortable and the entire room was spotless. Fixtures and fittings predominantly 1970s. The location (in the Intra Muros) was ideal for visiting the best parts of this town. Staff warm and... more

Have stayed at this hotel in 2001, '02, '04 and '06 and each time we have stayed the hotel owner has been very welcoming. Although we have only stayed at the hotel for one night at a time we have been greeted by the owner as though she has remembered us from last week!! The hotel was originally booked from... more

We also stayed there (4th August). Great for our night's stop before catching the Jersey ferry the next day. Limited parking, but OK once you get your head round it. The beach is a few yards away through the city wall. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. Can recommend it. Peter Anstey, Yorkshire, England more

We just spent 3 nights at Quic-en-Groigne within the walls of St Malo. The owners are the most wonderful hosts, always smiling and so helpful. The hotel is a 2 stars and there was no review on Trip Advisor so I was a bit apprehensive. However they do have a good review on the newest French pocket size edition of... more
