This is a strange place! The dining room is grey with very bright white wall lights and ceiling chandelier. It makes for a dining area which is "cold" and not at all gentle, which is a great pity. It is certainly not romantic. The tables, which are also grey are large and well spaced, which is a plus. The woman... More

Stayed on our last night in France to be near the ferry for the next day and also as it was a Sunday in Mid July the restaurant was open for dinner in the evening - a difficult thing to find in France. Our room was clean, comfortable with a small en-suite shower room. We had friends joining us for... More

This is a lovely hotel, deceiving from the front, Logis never let's us down. Superb modern bathroom. Friendly professional service.Would definitely use again, brilliant for the port of St Malo. We ordered coffee on the terrace which was served beautifully.

I should have done more research! A once charming building now surrounded by a commercial area. A rather sad location: neither in nor out of town. Had I done my research, I would have found out that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. Reception was closed in the evening so there was no one to call a taxi for me.... More

My wife and I spent two amazing nights at this hotel. It is not far from the center of St Malo. Great location. Clean and quite. The personnel was very polite and lovely. We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our night's stay at the Grassinais and also enjoyed my birthday dinner complete with a bottle of Louis Roderer. The next day we left for our next destination some 3 hours away. On arrival at said destination I discovered I had left some rather expensive jewelry at the Grassinais. We called them and the lady was very nice... More

We stayed just one night before catching a ferry in the morning. Hadn't realised it was just off a roundabout in a rather commercial area but for what we needed that didn't matter. We chose it because of the good reports of the restaurant which was pretty full on a Thursday night so we were glad we had booked. It... More

Stayed just the one night; unfortunately on a Monday when no restaurant was open (as on Sunday). Menu looked good but pricey. Room very average and not worth the money. Receptionist was friendly; no other staff seen. Would have been better off booking a budget place closer to amenities.

We stay here every year, on our last night before taking the ferry back home. It is ideally situated so that we can buy our fresh food before driving to the port. There are also a fair amount of shops in the area for any last minute buys. In addition, the restaurant is superb. We reserve a table when making... More

As a place to sleep only 5 Km from the Ferry port to England it fulfilled its purpose. Helpful receptionist, good breakfast, attractive old buildings. Easy to get to by car. But the restaurant shuts on Sunday even on July 7th, and it's too far to walk into St Malo which is a shame as St Malo is one of... More
