We stayed at Le Nautilus in April 2013 and had a fantastic experience. We got engaged on the walk around the walls of the old city late one evening after a romantic and amazing dinner at Le Bistro de Jean, right down the block. The next day in the late afternoon the owners and family and friends in for a... More

We recently spent a few days in St Malo, crossing as foot passengers and were very pleased to have found Le Nautilus with its pleasant and helpful staff. Our twin-bedded room was extremely comfortable (good beds, which is very important) and spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was tiny but we managed perfectly well, and although it wasn’t mentioned on their... More

The rooms and bathroom are small: not enough room to swing a cat, but when was the last time you needed to swing a cat in Saint Malo? It is very quiet, the beds are small but comfortable, and we slept very well (we had a two-room bedroom). Breakfast is good: be sure to order it the night before! The... More

This was our 9th visit to St Malo and our 4th staying at Le Nautilus. Well, having stayed there once why would we want to go anywhere else? Yet again, it was spotlessly clean, offered a varied breakfast (the home made bread is delicious) with plentiful good coffee. As usual we received faultless and friendly hospitality from Loick and Jean-Michel.... More

We have been visiting Saint Malo for 20 years and have stayed in many hotels but for the past three visits, we have stayed at the Hotel Le Nautilus. Its not the biggest hotel in Saint Malo nor the most luxurious but you get nice clean rooms and a friendly welcome from the owners at a very affordable price. I... More

If you value location, cleanliness, sleep quality and value for money then look no further. If you prefer to stay in large chain style hotels then this hotel housed in a 16th century building within the old walled city may not suit you. If like us you enjoy experiencing something a little different then you won't be disappointed. Charming hosts... More

Such an incredible location! Very friendly staff, impeccably clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's best to book directly with the hotel - they were very quick at getting back to me and we were amazed by how good value this hotel was. Great reviews are true!

Loved this hotel! Excellent location, nice, clean rooms, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Highly recommended. This was my first trip to St. Malo. Charming old town with lots of restaurants and nice beaches. Free walking tours every day at 3pm (in English).

A verry nice little hotel in the heart of Saint Malo. You don't get a better location. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The rooms are relatively small, but the price is good compared to what you get. Best buy😃

But we had to book by email or phone, as they have no online booking. This is a charming, small hotel, with a small lift, and we we asked for and got a king bed. We are both tall. The shower was about normal US size in our room, plenty big, unless one is a much larger girth. Mentioning this... More
