Nice hotel overall (if somewhat expensive). Has a family room, which is on two levels which had a good view over the city walls out to sea. No bar or restaurant in the hotel, which is not really a problem as plenty nearby - but you will have to go out - not always easy with small children after a... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. The room was big, we did not requested s double bed, so ended up with twins beds, so a bit disappointed until we discover that... there was another room upstairs ! Yes some stairs were hidden behind a 3/4 walls and on this floor there was a double bed with an amazing view over... More

Very Nice hotel with great location! Views of the English Channel are outstanding from here! You are inside the city walls and can walk atop to view it, if you'd like! The room my wife and I stayed in was very spaceous! The hotel staff was very, very helpful and very cordial! Very good location as a base for roaming... More

This hotel has lots going for it. The location is ideal. Inside the city walls, and right next to the sea wall, upper floor rooms can have outstanding ocean views. The staff was wonderful, answered lots of questions and provided city maps for us. Both mornings we asked them to begin serving breakfast earlier than usual, and they graciously agreed.... More

My friend and I stayed for 1 night in Duplex Room 219. It was not cheap but well worth the money. The view alone is fantastic and we were able to watch the sun setting that evening. The duplex has 2 sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms/shower rooms. Very spacious and comfortable with a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. We also... More

The hotel is in the old city (intra-muros) of St. Malo and provides a good starting point to explore the city. It is difficult to get there by car, since in July and August the traffic within the old city is limited and streets reserved mostly for pedestrians (which makes a lot of sense with the amount of people packed... Positives: great location, nice view of the cobblestone streets, nice bathroom with a fair amount of space and nice toiletries, room was fairly spacious for France. Negatives: old hotel with old furnishings and very used/old looking sheets and bedspreads and pillows, old and strange looking walls/flooring, no wi-fi, staff was not friendly, breakfast was terrible and very lacking in options.... I stayed here for two nights in July 2014 and it was a really nice hotel really helpful reception staff who got us the timetable for the bus that we were looking for from the Internet. We were lucky enough to have a room with a lovely view over the old Street which was absolutely delightful at night time.

This hotel is located within the "old" walled in town of St. Malot. The original town dates to the Middle Ages, but it was virtually destroyed by Allied bombing in WWII. Only a handful of the original buildings remain. The others have been amazingly rebuilt using the original stone in many cases and others with concrete, but using original stone... More
