The hotel is located in an older building and is still run by the descendants of Jacques Cartier. This is not the Ritz - but nor does it come with a Ritz pricetag. This is a good clean basic hotel with friendly service . If you want more luxuries then spend a little more. We stayed one night before getting the ferry from Saint Malo and it was more than adequate. We particularly liked the bar! more
