Wonderful location literally on the beach this a five star hotel with all that entails. Very traditional in the old style hotels that can be found in the South of France or Switzerland the service was excellent and the hotel which has it's own spa and pool spotlessly clean. We were quite surprised at the value with our room at... More

We stayed as a family with three young children for one night and really enjoyed it. The location is superb, the rooms very comfortable and the meal at Le Cap Horn was fabulous, whilst watching a blazing sun sink into the sea....

We spent a weekend at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes Marins. We stayed in the annex which has studios and suites suitable for families. Overall ok with well equipped kitchen but I wouldn't rave about the place. The studio apartment is too small for four people, even though the hotel says it is. The two extra beds are in the... More

This s the third year we have stayed here before catching the ferry in the morning. We had a small but adequate room with a great shower with all sorts of jets of water stimulating once we sorted out all the taps and buttons to push with nice toileteries, swimming cap, fluffy bathrobe and slippers but the bonus is the... At the hotel we have had a great overall experience. Personnel is kind and elegantly professional. I highly recommend the thalassotherapy packs they can organize for you during your stay. The place has been open for decades and some of the interiors are not aging gracefully. However they continuously renovate the place to offer the best possible comfort.

I booked last minute for the price advertised for a standard twin room (£140). The lobby is lovely, first impression was nice. The man at reception (seemed to be a manager) was rude on arrival, dismissive, answering the phone during checking, we were led to a smokey tired looking bedroom(like with no view that overlooked some mental rusted rooftop. I... More

Our room (#326) faced the side of the property, on one of the new additions. The room and bath are fairly compact but the deck gave a bit more space to lounge. The room also had a nice selection of toiletries and blowdryer. The spa next door had an area called Aquatonic which was an interesting hydrotherapy. You do have... More

If you want to treat yourself and a loved one this is the place! The rooms are over the top. Get a room overlooking the ocean and you will never forget this beautiful place. The amenities are great. The service is perfect. I can't wait to go back with friends and family.

Location, views, amenities and very friendly staff make this hotel a no brainer. Came here as part of a bike vacation so did not have the pleasure of partaking of the spa but next time for sure....this is a good sized hotel but it doesn't feel big or 'resort' like.....just an intimate joy among people dressed in fluffy white bath... Two nights were not enough in this grand establishment overlooking a magnificent beach next to Saint-Malo. The rooms, at any rate the ones in the new wing next to the original building, are clean and modern and well-equipped, the food is excellent, and even on a grey day in April, the views out to sea when the tide is out...
