Overfriendly staff, you feel home at once. We saw older people, obviously clients here for many years, but even if you come for the first time, the staff gives you that family feeling: great!!! Considering the age of the restaurated building and the architecture you expect Agatha Christie and Hercule Poirot at every corner! And then the wellness and the... More

This is a lovely old hotel, with a beautifully-appointed common areas and exceptional, but very expensive, food. Directly on the English Channel, the location is superb. My complaint with this hotel was the location of our room. We were given a room in the newer section of the hotel, which required the use of two elevators, a set of stairs,... More

My husband and I purchased passes for 27€ to use the pool at this spa. It was so much fun and well worth the money. Having spent several weeks on the road seeing the sights, we were in need of some muscle relaxation! You must purchase a bathing cap and then you enter a very large room with an equally... More

Wonderful location literally on the beach this a five star hotel with all that entails. Very traditional in the old style hotels that can be found in the South of France or Switzerland the service was excellent and the hotel which has it's own spa and pool spotlessly clean. We were quite surprised at the value with our room at... More

We stayed as a family with three young children for one night and really enjoyed it. The location is superb, the rooms very comfortable and the meal at Le Cap Horn was fabulous, whilst watching a blazing sun sink into the sea....

We spent a weekend at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes Marins. We stayed in the annex which has studios and suites suitable for families. Overall ok with well equipped kitchen but I wouldn't rave about the place. The studio apartment is too small for four people, even though the hotel says it is. The two extra beds are in the... More

This s the third year we have stayed here before catching the ferry in the morning. We had a small but adequate room with a great shower with all sorts of jets of water stimulating once we sorted out all the taps and buttons to push with nice toileteries, swimming cap, fluffy bathrobe and slippers but the bonus is the... At the hotel we have had a great overall experience. Personnel is kind and elegantly professional. I highly recommend the thalassotherapy packs they can organize for you during your stay. The place has been open for decades and some of the interiors are not aging gracefully. However they continuously renovate the place to offer the best possible comfort.

I booked last minute for the price advertised for a standard twin room (£140). The lobby is lovely, first impression was nice. The man at reception (seemed to be a manager) was rude on arrival, dismissive, answering the phone during checking, we were led to a smokey tired looking bedroom(like with no view that overlooked some mental rusted rooftop. I... More

Our room (#326) faced the side of the property, on one of the new additions. The room and bath are fairly compact but the deck gave a bit more space to lounge. The room also had a nice selection of toiletries and blowdryer. The spa next door had an area called Aquatonic which was an interesting hydrotherapy. You do have... More
