Two nights were not enough in this grand establishment overlooking a magnificent beach next to Saint-Malo. The rooms, at any rate the ones in the new wing next to the original building, are clean and modern and well-equipped, the food is excellent, and even on a grey day in April, the views out to sea when the tide is out... Very nice stay in St Malo, beautiful weather. Anyway, take some warm clothes ! 2 nights in family in 2 large Emeraud Rooms. Great breakfast and dinners in the Cap Horn Restaurant. " Thermes marins " Spa is still the best for reenergizing soul and body !

Our updated room in the Grande Hotel des Thermes was flawless. We had a corner room which gave us a bigger area than the same rooms with small balconies. The bed was comfortable and the room darkening curtains did a great job of keeping out the light. The bath was huge and modern and boasted a heated towel rack that... More

We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very large and was ocean front...only didn't have air conditioning (which we found strange for a 5* hotel). It also looked a bit dated and needed some upgrading (wall paper patches, etc.)...but I guess the hotel is considered very "shiek" and can get away with... More

This beautiful property is especially popular spa retreat for new Mother's, their infants and husbands. What a wonderful idea! A rest for a week seaside. Rooms on the ocean are reserved for all new Mother's. Therefore, be prepared to take a back seat -- or a room with no view! Rooms are very small, but charming. Small balcony was sunny... More

We arrived to this grand property after a huge rain storm. The calming of the surf set the seen. We made our reservations for the spa treatments at once. The rooms were small and outdated but worked since we were there only one night. Best to upgrade from a basic room. The dinner was fine nothing over the top but... More

The hotel is still very nice, has its best times probably before. The staff at reception could be nicer, they never smile. The restnof the personal is very friendly, at the breakfast we received excellent service. At the restaurant the service varied very much depending on the service personal and was usually at lunch time better than at dinner. The... More

The hotel is situated overlooking a beautiful stretch of beach just outside the Walled City. Rooms are well appointed with a nice feature of an outside shutter which allows for a darkened room to aid in sleeping. The spa itself is spread over a huge area, plenty to choose from but a little difficult to find your way around. Very... More

Stayed just the one night before early morning ferry at a discounted rate of 90 euro. Was surprised by how modern the bathroom was (looked new) and had a great outlook over the square. Great location but bit of a trial getting somewhere close to park via the one way system; the closest gate was closed due to street market.... More

We were there with our 1 and 2 year olds. Plenty of space in the rooms and the kids loved the super-size spa baths. The swimming pools were perfect for them as was the outdoor garden where they ran around with other children there. More broadly, Ile de Re is a super place with its villages, beaches, wonderful cyclepaths and... More
