GOOD STUFF: Loved the room and the parking - which is essential. Staff were great. The location is perfect for exploring the walled city, harbour, and marina. Not part of the hotel but they keep promotional literature for a free English walking tour which was priceless! BAD STUFF: A very noisy front street with rowdy disco and party goers pouring... More

2nd time we had stayed at this hotel in St Malo. We chose it again as they now have a secure garage nearby (extra charge). However, I was a little disappointed with our room on 5th floor. Rather basic for the cost, noisy when windows open (very stuffy) as near nightclub which chucked at 4.15am! The bathroom was clean &... More

We were six cyclists from Exeter/Bath and we stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth on our sixth night in Brittany after cycling 207 miles. The position right in the centre of the "Intra-Muros" is perfect and St Malo is a real gem of a place. We saw the best sunset I had seen since Bali in December 2012! The staff were... More

This hotel was listed as 3 star It is simply a B &B. We were placed in an adjoining building, with a narrow stair case, , on 3rd flood. Just as well we just had overnight cases. Breakfast was fine. We stayed in other hotels, during this trip, all 3 star, but had lifts, better rooms, and bar facilities.

We had 2 nights here at the end of a weeks bike touring holiday. Our room was in the annex part of the hotel on the top floor and we picked this hotel because of the secure garage for our bikes. The staff were really helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. The... More

Though I had been notified that our room would be in the annex, I didn't realize that it meant that the room would be such a different class than the main building. When we arrived, we had a bit of a hard time finding parking but finally did. The young lady who checked us in was incredibly kind, but we... More

We arrived for our 3 night pre-booked stay late on Sunday afternoon. We were told we had to drop our bags at the hotel and try to park the car in the public car park outside intra Muros. It was summer and we had to queue for quite a while to get in. Shortly before we left, we found out... More

Nice welcome even though we arrived at 11.50pm, easy location inside the walls, close to bars restaurants beaches. We booked 2 nights, then another 1 night a few days later. Our booking didn't state that we were in the Skippers annexe however that's where our room was and it was uncomfortably small and there was nowhere to put clothes except... More

from the beginning until our departure the staff was helpful, more than friendly, they took our car to the garage, helped us with the baggage, always ready to answer questions. We stayed ohne night, but it is a good place to stay longer in the middle of the beautiful old town.

The Hotel Elizabeth is a nice little hotel. It is situated within the fort walls, but in a quiet spot within yards of the cafes and bars etc. We have been in better hotels, but we have been in much worse too. The young lady on reception was very nice and helpful, and our room, although basic, was clean and... More
