It's located intramuros, the breakfast is ok, the room is tight, and so the bathroom. There are a feel bars around, what may be a little noisy. The upper floors have rooms with more space, but you have to face more stairs.

Very handy for the port, just inside the historic walls and great for a one night stay if you are using the ferry. Unfortunately our room on the 2nd floor was small and dark (facing onto the street) with no real view. The best thing about it was the huge bathroom! A cold buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate. Lovely staff... More

This location is fantastic as a lot of other hotels are outside the walls. It is expensive for the Ibis Styles Brand but really does have the best location in the citadel. You are immediately adjacent to the Main Gate and in amongst the restaurants and cafes sidestreets . Not disabled friendly. No lift. Very narrow stairs, typically French. Small... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Once outside the lobby you are in the thick of restaurants and shops. It is right beside the Grande Port entrance to the walled city. It is a short walk away from the municipal buses that travel to the train station and the rest of the area. The bus to Mont Saint-Michel can... More

Classic IBIS-Style Hotel. Clean, functional, central location. Breakfast was Ok. The guy in the Reception (He must have worked about 12-14 hours a day, as he was ALWAYS around) was very friendly and helpful. Maybe not the ideal hotel if you want it quiet, as it is located in the middle of the Town. Parking possible outside the city walls.... More

Stayed here with three other dedicated cyclists, each carrying all their gear and stuff with them. A nice hotel but oh dear, why do they feel it necessary to charge each of us 10 euros (total 40 euros) just to park the bikes in the luggage store room! I know the cost was made clear when we booked but the... More

... In Intra-Muros of Saint Malo. However smallest room ever (401) , even tiny for IBIS standards. Could hardly sit on the toilet as the lavabo was so close to the toilet-seat. Also noisy at night with so many peolpe returning from night life. Tight stairway and NO ELEVATOR ! But to walk around the old town a great location

We stayed at the Ibis Styles within the St Malo city walls on the way back from our holiday in Brittany - first time we looked at it on line the price was in the OMG catagory (at the start of the year) but 3 weeks before we left for France it was down to only 82Euros (ONLY !!! -... More
