The hotel has a good location in the old town (inside the walls), which means up to 10 minutes walk to everything that's inside the walls. It's also right by one of the old city gates and in front of one of the stairs to the ramparts. This provides an easy access to the beach, to the rampart walk, and... More

We stayed here in June 2013. This family-run hotel had classic atmosphere, recently renovated sea-style rooms and excellent restaurant in historical location. The views were amazing and price very reasonable.

We stayed in August on a day when the whole of France appeared to be visiting Saint Malo! Situated at the top of the old town , we had real difficulty parking and parked out of town to begin with. Eventually booked the hotel garage parking which was at the bottom of the town ,difficult to find and not easy... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were on the 3rd floor. Climbing up those 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) was well worth it, the view of the ocean from our window was breathtaking! The room was small but comfortable. The hotel is close to the wall we can walk on, also there is easy access to... More

We were at this hotel from July 20 to 22, 2013. We were assign a room on the first floor, but still we suffered to climb with suitcases through the narrow stairs. According to the owner the hotel was not hit by bombs during World War II, which has happened with many other buildings in Saint-Malo, which had to be... More

We chose to stay at this hotel, for the night before our ferry back to the UK, because it was in the quieter side of Saint-Malo. When we arrived, we where greeted by a very friendly receptionist who informed us of the breakfast times and other important information about the area, although we have been to Saint-Malo at least once... When I booked on the internetI asked for a room with a sea view. When we arrived we were given a small, dark room at the back with a toilet and shower in a cupboard. My husband asked if there were any other rooms free and the receptionist said no. I then reminded her that I had specifically requested a... More

We stayed by the main gate. Exploring the opposite corner of St Malo, we found this charming, well run restaurant, next to their hotel. The decor and attention to detail throughout is most pleasing. The patron placed a menu for me showing the terrace in 1936, I joked, are you there?. He indicated the grandmother of his wife. It has... More

We stayed one night on our way back to the U.K. after a motorcycle tour of Spain and France. The hotel is situated within the walls of the old town close to all the attractions.
