Just stayed for the second time in this great little hotel - modern and stylish but also charming- and yes of course try for a sea view room - its right on the digue with it's back to the sea - but if you can't, don't worry, the rooftop terraceis a fabulous seating area, with lift up to it and... While the rooms are small, excellent use is made of the space. The view is amazing. Loved watching the penguins each morning - a group of people who wade through the deep waters off shore. I admired their dedication and hardy constitutions! The changing shoreline, according to the tides, is like a fascinating show that you can watch from your... More

Small but excellent 3 star. About 10 minutes walk to the city (along the coast, nice walk). Rooms are very small, but very clean and comfortable. Make sure to get a sea view room. Super friendly staff. The breakfast is 10€ for continental, includes fried egg and crepe made to order. Make sure to check out the rooftop (bar)!

This is a small hotel nicely located along the main beach, and also about a 15-min walk from the walled city. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is modern and clean, and the view (from a fourth-floor room) is spectacular; it's worth ensuring that you have a water view. But the room was very small -- even for... More

Won't bore you by repeating what everyone else has said. One complaint: I was awakened by the raucous surf as the tide came galloping in before dawn. Love the staff. Love the location. Reserve dinner at Les Embruns and have lunch at Cafe de l'Ouest and you'll soon be dreaming of a return to St-Malo as I am now.

Great little hotel. The staff spoke good English which was very helpful for people who should speak French but don't! Room with view of sea was excellent and the staff found a kettle for me which was wonderful for the extra cup of tea early in the morning. Unfortunately we did not find the roof terrace until just before we... More

This hotel was our first and last stop during a 6 day bike trip. The room was small but well appointed. Its window opened wide and we could see the beach and up and down the St Malo walking path along the sea wall. Restaurant was well priced for traditional food, which we enjoyed coming and going. Breakfast was super.... More

Only stayed for one night wish it could have been more.... The room was perfect with fab views, balcony and extremely clean. With an easy walking distance of the old town, we also had free parking on the street. Breakfast was a buffet and well worth the extra euros. Will be back.

Lovely small hotel perfect for exploring the city. Well located on the city beach, not far from the old city center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In just two days we already felt at home. The breakfast (10 eur) is a great deal. We loved the roof terrace for a drink. The hotel restaurant has a perfect sea... More

This hotel is a fabulous small hotel in St. Malo. It is right on the beach and if you stay here, do get a sea view room (worth the extra). These rooms have magnificent views of the beach. The rooms are quite small, but beautifully appointed. Dont miss out on having a drink on the terrace, fantastiv views.
