This used to be a classy hotel - but they've recently redone it and it looks nothing like the pictures here. It's trying to be trendy but it's now definitely got a more downmarket feel and the worst thing - they now have the hardest beds known to mankind. The only way I got any sleep was by piling onto... City centre hotel, so traffic was busy getting there at rush hour. Easy parking. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment so there was no bar or restaurant available so cannot judge that, but can only commend for making improvements. It was slightly difficult finding somehere mid-range to eat dinner. The room was very comfortable and the lighting in the bathroom was... More

Smallish rooms, no restaurant, great location though with many restaurants nearby. Won't stay there again. Staff friendly and helpful and rooms clean if a bit basic. As a family, we would have expected a few more hotel amenities to make life more comfortable

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel this week. The location is excellent. There is parking available under the hotel (E11 per day) which appears to be secure. Therefore, once we arrived, we parked the car and walked everywhere. It was close to the historic area of the city and also to the hopping area and many restaurants. The... More

A pleasant hotel in a good location. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with good facilities. Staff were helpful. A great breakfast selection, although some food would benefit from being covered in the summer. Car parking available.

Fantastic location, lots going on, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants close by. Hotel has secure underground parking and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately bar not open on Friday/Saturday evenings, Mini bar in room incredibly expensive and breakfast seems expensive at 18€ also, so went out for something near by. Room is good size, standard facilities, clean and comfortable.

As an Accor platinum member for the past almost 10 years I have stayed in quite a few Mercures. Generally I like Mercures as a nice blend of value vs quality. This hotel is definitely the worst Mercure I have ever stayed In. Hotel does not permit checkin before noon even when rooms are available. (Great guest appreciation) Hotel lobby... More

As expected with the Mecure chain an excellent hotel. We booked a suite for a mere €110.. And really enjoyed the extra space, 2 TVs one in the bedroom and one in the lounge, huge bed and excellent shower. However mecure when you provide an nespresso machine and the rest of the room has quality bedding, and toiletries do you provide... More

The staff at check in was great. Helped with parking and answered all my questions about places I wanted to visit. The room (a superior) was clean and spacious with a working desk and an armchair. The bed was comfortable. There was air-condition, but we turned it off as it was rather noisy. We had a room facing the street,... More
