What a find. This incredible building is located in the perfect area of old town Rennes. Walking distance to all sites and restaurants. Our host, Fabrice, was a perfect gentleman and very accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was private and delicious. Thank you, Fabrice, for your kind hospitality!

Reside in a building going back to 1480, with ancient stairs and well-furnished rooms, a cozy lounge (wines and spirits available on a honor basis!) and a terrace that will definitely be wonderful if the weather cooperates. The continental breakfast for a reasonable amount of Eu9.50 includes juice, coffee or tea, bread, croissant, pastry, yoghurt, butter and jam and a... More

What a charming and we'll run B&B. We drove here and circled the area and parked some distance away before returning on foot. We were met by the charming Favrice who seemed to run the Hotel single handed. The building is 600 years old and very well adapted for a comfy stay. The bed was comfy and we slept well.... More

Rennes historic area where this B&B is located is a bit scary to drive in...but that makes the walking so wonderful through this very old district. A wonderful city. This B&B is wonderful. Very old world and beautifully restored. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - I highly recommend this B&B

Our sat/nav had great difficulty and we ended up parking and walking in. A VERY old building which was fascinating in itself. Host was charming, very helpful. Huge room, comfortable bed and peaceful. Great location for walking. Highly recommended.

Doubtless we have all seen the advertisement for the hotel, where every role is performed by the same person wearing a different uniform: the receptionist, the commissionaire even room service, well this was the proprietor of Symphonie DES Sens, known to all as Fabrice. He operates an amazing establishment 'Kind Hearts and Coronets' fashion. Being the custodian of such an... More

Part of the charm of Brittany is walking down the quiet streets of villages among the traditional homes with their colorful chevron and striped woodenbeam facades, leering over the streets as they slump in their antique foundations. Now imagine living in the oldest one in Renne! In fact, this boutique establishment does a great job of preserving the history while... More

We made a tour of 10 days in Brittany, in 2013 , July, starting from Emeraude Cote up to Quiberon and Bell Ile en Mer and we spent on the middle of our vacance two days in Rennes. We had the great chance, booking long time in advance, to stay in this historic building turned into a splendid boutique hotel... More

We were delighted with our stay Symphonie des Sens. It is a lovely small hotel in a great location, and Fabrice, the proprietor, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. We felt lucky to get a room. We were on a road trip across France and found ourselves outside of Rennes late in the afternoon without a place to... More

When you can stay at a property that is 12 years older than the date of Columbus discovering the New World you do it. Fantastic hosts, centrally located in Rennes, and wonderful breakfasts. The building is an incredible piece of architecture that will leave you awe struck.
