Booked this purely on tripadviser reviews and took the recomendation to ask for a courtyard facing room. We initially thought we would get to the hotel at 7pm but delayed by the tunnel we soon realised we would not arrive til 11pm. Rang ahead to the hotel hoping that this would not be a problem, they couldn't have been more... More

We stayed three nights and enjoyed a beautiful room, and delicious breakfasts (including local products). What we will remember about the Hotel Gradlon, though, is chatting to the owner at the bar and learning about Finistère while sampling drinks unique to the region....Pommeau, Lambig, and a whisky made from buckwheat. The owner has also put together a small library which... More

There is no lift and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to our room. We had help with the luggage, but still had to drag our weary bones up and down all those stairs several times during our stay. The room was clean and light, the en-suite spacious and well-appointed, but although the hand-basin had very hot water,... More

Stayed three nights and were very pleased. Helpful staff, nice building, exceptionally clean and good size room. Bar / lounge very comfortable and with fire lit would be quite special. Two minute walk to centre of town. Easy parking on street or in their garage. Definitely recommended.

This is a fairily nice hotel with good room standard. The breakfast i better than French average and the public areas within the hotel are comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful finding us a restaurant on a sunday night and very helpful opening and closing the garage for us.

Stay for one night at this quaint hotel which is in need of some TLC and updating. But the Staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and the bathroom was tired. The shower was more of a dribble which was a shame as it was the biggest I have seen in a small hotel!! No restaurant and... More

Hotel doesn't look much from outside, but nice inside + very French (in a good way!). Our room was excellent: spacious, big comfy bed, good sitting area and quiet (our room was on courtyard). Staff very helpful. Good continental breakfast. Limited parking (you may want to book a space in advance). although there is free parking on street and at... More

Good location two minutes from the centre of town. The bedrooms were a good size and very quiet. The room was very clean and looked over a central courtyard. The bed was a little firm for our tastes but this seems to be quite normal in France. There is no lift in the hotel but hotel staff were happy to... More

Easy to find on the road coming into Quimper. Found free parking on the street. Very friendly front desk. Didn't have the breakfast as we like to explore the towns. The room was fine. Face the courtyard for quiet rooms.Spacious bathroom, shower. Had a towel warmer that was great for washing out some laundry. Tea and coffee in the room.... More

Quimper is not over-endowed with hotels, so this seemed the best bet, especially with so many glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. But, with its tired old greying flags outside, need of paint and redecs inside and out, no parking easily to hand (occasionally we found free parking in the street opposite, but often had to park and walk a good 5...
