Excellent location with immediate access to transport system. Fifteen minutes walk into the city centre which is really lovely, with good restaurants and interesting and quality shops. Sadly, the area around the hotel is not very inviting, somewhat unkempt, which could be improved if the businesses simply decided to clean their own area. There is dog mess, certainly, but no... We were totally disappointed getting off the train at Quimper at the state of the area around the train station. Road was really shabby and littered in dog mess, literally every step. Checked into the Mercure which was straight in front of station and didnt expect a lot, especially as we got such a cheap room from Booking.com. Very pleasantly... More

Arrived to find we had been granted an upgrade - the room was excellent. Parking in the hotel garage was an experience but managed to get in without any incidents - getting out a lot easier. Its a pity that the local area is a bit shabby, but to be expected around the station. A 15 minute walk into Quimper... More

Surprisingly small rooms for a Mercure hotel, bed slightly larger than a single and a badly designed bathroom with toilet practically against the door and shower door not openable without great contortion. Nice lobby, good service and great location opposite station but not one of the better Mercures.

Great little hotel, nice and clean. Room was France typical small. Great location close to shopping and cafes. I would recommend for a quick stay in Quimper. Wifi spotting in the room - but worked nicely in the lobby. Staff was very helpful.

The good thing is that it's immediatly across from the train station. The bad things is that the beds were taken from a French WWI barrack. I'm average height for a North American and my feet were sticking over the edge - which tends to get annoying. The breakfast was correct but nothing to write home about. The room was... More

We were booked into another hotel in Quimper but on arrival we found that things were not as advertised and asked the manager to reorganise accommodation for us, which he readily did. The Mercure is situated down the train station end of town but was surprisingly quiet in spite of this. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful and... More

This is a beautifully refurbished hotel, friendly staff, average buffet breakfast - everything I expect from a Mercure hotel (and I stay at a lot of Accor group hotels)....BUT: The bathroom (room 415) is an awesome exercise in packaging everything you need into an incredibly small space, in which it is physically impossible to sit straight on the toilet and... We know Quimper quite well but have never stayed there. we went to visit some Breton friends as she has been unwell. We arrived by train from Paris and only had to cross the road to the hotel. We were very well situated for the centre of the city which is very beautiful. The Cathedral is a must as is... More
