Never go to Brittany for the weather unless you like getting very wet inland; this hotel managed by its service (after a slow start), rooms, food and drink to make up for non-stop rain. Its location is wonderful right on a sheltered sandy cove beach and on the coastal path around the resort. We had intended to visit three restaurants... More

We arrived at the Hotel de la Vallee, Dinard, late and very tired after a hectic day sightseeing in Paris. We were not looking forward to the formalities at check in, however we were very pleasantly surprised to be given our room key immediately and told check in would be fine in the morning. Our room was superb, quiet but... More

The Hotel de la Vallee in Dinard is amazing. Small and nestled against a cliff overlooking the water and Saint Malo, it is a wonderful place. Definitely get a room on the front overlooking the water (a few have balconies but they are not necessary). We have been there both in the summer and at Christmas/New Years. It is just... More

We took our elderly parents here for a visit to Dinard and the surrounds. The hotel is in a perfect position: sea views, very quiet location and yet within just a few moments walk to Dinard sea front and town. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and the staff were all very helpful and efficient. Other than breakfast... More

The Hotel De La Vallee is an incredible find in Dinard. We watched the constantly changing tides from our room. It's a show in itself. Besides the amazing view, this hotel has a first class restaurant. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. We required a handicapped room and we decided to stay two extra nights. They were able to manage... More

We had a family room which aren't that large but are fine nice view of the small beach and the harbour , although when it's hot the room is noisy if you have the window open , one night there was a party in the restaurant opposite and it felt like it was in our room ! . The hotel... More

We used this hotel as a base for a short golfing holiday. It is ideally located within easy reach of several courses. The holiday is well located by a small harbour, within easy walking distance of the main part of Dinard. The weather was good whilst we were there and the area looked beautiful. The breakfast was adequate, staff very... More

Our first disappointment was arriving around 4pm and being sent up to our room, only to find it was still being cleaned - we were asked to take a walk around. We were also disappointed to have a room ... facing a cliff - and when we mentioned this disappointment, no reaction. The final disappointment was carpet in the bathrooms... More

Only stayed here en route to friends, but had a very well rested nights sleep. Staircases very steep but was no problem for us. The hotel is in a lovely location, if you had a front facing room you would have an amazing view! Very central only a few minutes walk to the beach and town. Lovely area and lovely... More

WE came here for 3 gloriously quiet nights, the sea gently lapping in the Cale outside our window. The bed was most comfortable and the separate Loo a blessing. The shower room was clean and modern. We were lucky to have room 203, the one with the Juliet Balcoiy and were able to have a picnic lunch on it! All... More
