I have just returned from four nights at the Hotel Printania. We chose the hotel based on a recommendation from a friend, and were prepared to overlook some of the more negative reviews on this and other websites. We certainly should not have done so. Our party of four had booked one room with a sea view (more expensive) and... more

Just returned from 3 days in Dinard spent at this wonderful traditional Bretton hotel. Dinard is simply a delightful seaside town. The bays are lovely yellow sand, the bulidings range from gingerbread typical French, la Belle Y Poque, Art Deco, Edwardian and Victorian facades. Fish and Bretton specialities abound, quite expensive, but very special. As for the Printania, very quiet,... more

We booked a room here at the last minute, for three of us (parents and teen daughter). It was a little expensive (135 Euro for one night, plus breakfast), but very comfortable. Our room was a family room with beds for _five_; an ordinary double with a good firm mattress, an ordinary single, and an extraordinary set of bunk beds,... more

My second stay here. Very old hotel, with lots of antiques and charm. Modern, up-dated bathrooms, large bedrooms. Breakfast is above average. more

We stayed here just one night passing through the area. Called them a few days ahead and asked for a room with a sea view and got exactly that - a large room with a balcony and view to die for! This, though, is an old property that creaks a bit and sprawls over a few buildings down a hill,... more

Stayed at the Hotel Printania for one night while traveling with a school group with ACIS Educational Tours. Our tour group took up a large part of the hotel and annex down the street. We ate at the hotel in a very nice room that looked right onto the sea. The food was good, but the employees were not the... more

The major problem here was that despite the fact that we had booked 2 months previously via a reputable booking firm (and paid extra for) a room with a seaview in the main hotel, we were shown to a backroom overlooking the dingy rue on the other side. When we complained we were initially told that the hotel was full... more

We have just stayed at the Printania for 3 days and this was our third visit. Staff are polite although not gushing. The interior of the hotel is lovely - old fashioned and traditional with huge pieces of Breton furniture. The bed was amazing(in Room 102) but not for those that are less than mobile as it was a giant... more

I traveled all over France in a tour group, and this hotel was the most authentic-European we stayed in. Two of my friends and I stayed in the "Annex" down the street in a lovely decorated room with a balcony overlooking the shoreline. Some other people from our group stayed in the mother building itself, and I agree with the... more

The hotel is well located and the rates are decent. It's well worth it to pay for the room with the sea view, which is absolutely gorgeous. I had room 215 and it had a balcony. But the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors talking and sneezing; and if you want to sleep in in the morning... more
